You are 100% correct. My point being, college sports are not the same today as it once was. You can buy a temporary team for the year and next year you may lose them all like North Carolina last year. That went from the Final two to the bottom of the pit. There's no more loyalty and hometown vibe. It is, what it is!

Kansas, Kentucky and Duke have been winning forever. I’m genuinely curious. When was the last NCAA champion with a majority local talent? Was that ever a thing?
