Yes, but these greens aren’t just firm like a normal new green is. They’re really hard. So hard that you don’t leave a ballmark no matter how high you hit it into the green. I talked to one guy who said they had gotten a pretty good bit of rain the last two afternoons. I don’t know what they did, but the greens don’t play like a normal new green. Could be from a lot of rolling I guess. Maybe it’s the grass they’re using. They said they’re paspalum. If they ever got those things really fast, it’d be damn hard to score on those greens.

They're running about as fast as they would run. Its a decent size tournament and payout. The pin locations tomorrow wont be as bad as they will be be Sunday. Hope the wind doesnt blow Sunday cause it'll be hard to score as it should be. Play good tomorrow and yall will be fine.
Look its Abbeville its not Oakbourne. They arent trying to run the greens so fast that no one wants to play there. Its newer greens, they're firm if you're a low handicapper you can still ck wedges after the initial bounce. Make the adjustment drink some beers hit up Dupuys.
Best of luck the course is in as good of shape as its been in over a decade
