Absolutely love this movie but it's so hard for me to watch now after having a kid. Did anyone else experience this? Him leaving and missing her life essentially is something I'm conscious of the entire time. It's brutal.

I don’t even have a kid and I couldn’t get over how unconscionable it would be to sign up for that mission if you were a father of two. Going into space period would be pretty selfish if you had kids.
