Easy solution. If a player goes out with injury, and the clock stops, then the player is not allowed back on the field until a change of possession....

Regarding the enmity against Tenn, Munson originally came from Nashville (Vandy area), so he was use to a powerful Tennessee team, and he carried that for the rest of his life....

I remember back in the late 80's and maybe early 90's Mike Archer seemed to have LSU playing great football. I went into the military, and when I got back to the state of Georgia,he was gone.
