re: Let's go ahead and discuss the FG kicker(s) - uofarolltide
I think the point is that when you have THE best cfb program in the nation, you should have one of the best kickers - not some mediocre guy or worse. We've had good punters, but we can't even get a top 50 kicker...

re: Let's go ahead and discuss the FG kicker(s) - uofarolltide
Jesus fricking Christ we are snake-bitten at this position. God knows if we get a top 5 kicking recruit, we'll get the one that completely unravels and turns completely worthless while the other 4 go onto break records...

Easily Rueben Foster. He had a great career, and really flourished last year...

re: bj emmons transferring - uofarolltide
I don't get it. You say he was the least impressive, but his athleticism was off the charts, and to me, looked every bit as dangerous as Jacobs, but maybe didn't have the blocking schemes down yet. All I know is that he's going to make some P5 team really happy. ...

re: What is it with Alabama and QBs? - uofarolltide
Things are looking up now. While Jalen isn't an NFL QB, he's a playmaker that could possibly develop NFL passing skills. Unlikely but possible. Tua looks like a potential NFL level talent. We're also getting interest from some highly coveted 5star QBs for this class...

re: This Jalen Hurts guy is - uofarolltide
You should probably give up watching college football then. It's 2017, teams will use running QBs sometimes. Many at all times.
And the only teams that will be worth a damn are the teams with QBs that have deadly arms like Deshaun Watson. I think a QB that can run is great, but it re...

BJ Emmons was my favorite runner. He ran with a violent attitude. Some team just lucked out...

re: Worst game, your team lost. That still makes you scratch your head - uofarolltide
It seems like everyone has a story of a head-scratching loss to Auburn where they somehow pulled a horseshoe out of their ass The 2010 "Camback" is still the creepiest game I can ever remember. There was voodoo shite going on all over the field...
That seems to imply that Julio>Coop
Duh Julio is one of the best WRs of all time. He's already claimed a spot in the NFL hall of fame...

re: My thoughts on sec west teams. - uofarolltide
In my opinion Hurts was an average qb on an elite team last year. I know you'll disagree with my opinion, but he has a ton he can improve on
I think LSU fans have a skewed perception of Hurts because we had our worst offensive game against yall last season. Hurts was still the one wi...

re: Have there been any updates on Bo or Shaun's recoveries - uofarolltide
We need to pace Bo and manage his carries because he isn't built to be a workhorse:
I don't understand this line of thinking. Bo could get hurt on the first snap of the season, or the last. We need to take full advantage of him if he's healthy, and if he needs 30 carries for us to wi...

re: This Jalen Hurts guy is - uofarolltide
You think he MIGHT? COME ON. We were a drive away from winning one in his true freshman year. Not debatable. That implies that he is definitely good enough to win an NC with. Whether we do or not is a different matter.
With the best defense Saban has ever had which scored almost eve...

re: This Jalen Hurts guy is - uofarolltide
So Tua can get better but Jalen can't?
My point is that Tua's struggles are due to lack of experience and the mental side of cfb - easily coachable. Jalen's struggles are much more physically entrenched. He doesn't scan the field with lightning quickness, and then fire a pass like we...

re: This Jalen Hurts guy is - uofarolltide
If ur talking about the interception in the A-Day game, it wasn't a perfect pass but he threw it in a catchable spot and the TE or whoever it was didn't look until late and the ball went over his head to be picked. That wasn't really Jalen's fault. And ur saying how natural Tua looks at...

re: This Jalen Hurts guy is - uofarolltide
I have to say it's hard for me to be sold on the guy. Call me old school but the only thing that matters to me in QB play is how effective is he throwing the ball. I know he's a dangerous runner, but he's far from a dangerous passer as of yet. Tua on the other hand is so natural throwing the b...

re: Changes coming to high-end tailgating on Alabama's quad - uofarolltide
the "demand" for these are area companies. Individuals really can't afford these. Companies can bring clients (so taxes can be written off) or employees for "team building" exercises and a "work- life balance" exercise. Forget the ol guys from the fraternity or friends from the old neighbor...
