With Jordan Travis injured and Tate Rodemaker in the transfer portal, Florida State QB Brock Glenn will make his second career start for the Seminoles in the Orange Bowl against Georgia. And he's already chirping...
quote:

"We’ve played two SEC teams and won both of them," Glenn said, via On3 Sports. "LSU and Florida. So, you can say what you want about the SEC but we’re just as good. Both teams are top in the country. So, this will be a good and exciting matchup."

Now isn't he cute - almost like a real qb on a real team during this bowl game. There isn't a hole deep enough that you can crawl into now.

To be fare the FSU team that beat LSU was for the most part not the team that was on the field last night.

And to be fair, the LSU team at the end of the season is not the LSU team FSU beat. FSU would be a 7-5 team in the SEC. The ACC is about to be like the Pac 12. And Glenn brags about beating a 5-7 Florida team, get real.

There is something not the same between these two responses.

You gotta learn to keep your mouth shut until after you win. Then you can say whatever you want.

I'm in the camp I wish athletes would just doing their talking on the field and stay off social media all together, but that's not what we have today no matter who you follow. He's a good kid and honestly his comments aren't wrong. I want him to have some bravado and confidence going into this game. We did beat 2 SEC teams. Can't help those games were scheduled years ago and LSU and UF, who were perennially top 10 teams, weren't that this year. FSU with Travis would have been competitive with any SEC team this year. Now, with 18 players opting out, it's not the matchup it could have been. I think we deserved the chance to play for a national championship, but let's face it, it's all about ratings and TV revenues. 5 Power Conference teams. 4 slots. System is inherently flawed. You'd have felt the same way if your team had been rated within the top 4 all year long, only to slip at the end through no fault of your own. Do I think FSU is currently a top 4 program? Probably not. But that should be decided on the field. Not by old fat white men with obvious conflicts of interest.

Agree! Norville and Fuller are great minds and Florida cranks out tons of talent. But Georgia is going to skull frick them because they will be healthy!

I actually agree with him. They are just as an SEC team with 3 or more losses. Mid tier SEC teams.

I imagine I'll be watching Auburn/Maryland or Toledo/Wyoming by the 2nd quarter.

Not gonna happen, but if they beat Georgia they should be ranked 1 in the final AP poll
