I assume most uga folks will stay in chicago

That's my plan. My aunt and uncle live there. My wife and I will probably stay with them in Evanston. My wife used to live in Chicago and loves it, I've never been except for layovers. She has been talking about us taking a trip there for a couple years now. Now we have an excuse.

My wife and i took our son up to northern Illinois University for a wrestling camp one year. We didn't get to see Chicago hardly at all. What i did see didn't make me want to go back, but like I said...we really on spent one night there, and didn't really do anything.

schedules are out, cubs are at home that weekend. I'm betting a LOT of uga fans will be at wrigley that thursday or friday.

I will be there with roof top seating.

just double checked, they play the brewers that Friday at 1:20pm.

Thursday they are away, and also play the brewers at home on sat/sunday (those times TBD).

I remember Nebraska playing a game there in 2000 when they were ranked #1, ND was #25. Nebraska had at least 45k fans in the stadium. Google image search the South Bend Invasion.

We won't have nearly that many but it'll definitely be more than 8k

They had maybe 25 TOPS, which is still really doggone impressive. But they in no way filled over half the stadium.

45k was a bit excessive. Estimates of 25-30k Nebraska fans in the stadium that day.

I fully expect us to have 12-15k in the stadium and plenty more in the area for the game
