There's no way I can guess. Getting them from UGA they'll be about $90 or $100 each if forced to guess. Stubhub et al will be outrageous. Hundreds per ticket.
The issue is gonna be that well only get around 8k tix I guess and the cutoff scores are going to be very high.

It's the easiest site in the world to get banned from.
If you type "What the #$%@" they will ban you for typing around the profanity filter.
But the have an "infraction" system so you don't necessarily get banned on your first offense of typing @#$% but if you do it twice, you're gone.

Really? I don't cuss, but that does not offend me at all. Years ago when we still took the newspaper, they used to do that in the comic section.

we absolutely will not have 20K. Their stadium seats 80K and this will be as big a game for them as us, there's no way we fill 1/4 of their stadium.
In tempe in 08 we had about 20K fans in town, we totally took over. But we still jsut had the regular allotment IN the stadium of however many tix we were given. We can't force ND to give us a crapton more tickets, so we'll have the ~8K or so that UGA gives us and the rest will be aftermarket. Do you really think 10K UGA fans are going to go online and pay $500 per ticket from ND fans?

I'm not going because I don't really care to see that place but as you said, it's once in a lifetime. I dunno about 20k but it's not unrealistic to think there will be more than 8k.

There will definitely be more than 8K uga fans in town but as far as actually seated inside the stadium, we aren't gonna have anywhere close to 15 or 20K. I mean, wouldn't you think it laughable if ND fans said they were gonna have 20K inside of sanford in a few years? It's just not realistic.
Also of note...despite us having ~20K fans in tempe and basically shutting down the bars before the game even kicked off, we had maybe a FEW thousand inside the stadium. We had a corner of an upper deck and a TINY sliver (about half of 1 section) in the lower.

They are issued to alert a member of an activity, post, comment, etc. that is in violation of the forum rules. All warnings can be viewed in your user profile by you.
Infractions
Infractions are issued for more serious offenses or after the first warning has been issued. The normal moderation progression is a warning for the first rule violation and then infractions for each additional rule violation. It is possible to receive infractions and never receive a warning if the rule violations are severe or intentional. Infractions count toward your permanent record and are not reversible. Each user can get up to three infractions. The fourth infraction awarded will initiate an automatic banning by the forum’s software. A banning is a permanent event and not reversible. Once a member is banned, their profile and user name can no longer be used. The member loses all posting privileges permanently. Occasionally a “Final Warning” may be issued when a user has three infractions. This is an indication the next rules violation will result in a member being banned from the forum. There can be instances of serious violations resulting in a member being banned where no infractions or warnings have been issued previously. All infractions can be viewed in your user profile by you.
You may not discuss Warnings or Infractions given to you or any other member on the open forums.
Bashing of legal kills and catches.
The bashing of legal kills, whether it be deer, any other big or small game, will not be tolerated. A trophy is in the eyes of the beholder. Posts that harass or belittle anyone and the animal, fish, or bird, and also the legal method of any game taken will be removed and the member will be dealt with accordingly. If you can`t say something nice, it`s best to be silent and move on. This rule will be strictly enforced.
Posting videos and other media
Linking videos from sites such as YouTube MUST be embedded versus linking to the site page the video is on. The member has a responsibility to ensure that video content is appropriate for this forum and is in compliance with the G-rating. [deeprig- if someone in a youtube video says "hell" you are banned... even if it's a guy catching a marlin and says "That's a hell of a fish!" you will get an infraction]
Avatars
All avatars must comply with our G rated, family friendly theme. Avatars that are deemed to be sexually suggestive, vulgar, abusive, or overly revealing will be deleted.
The decision as to whether an avatar complies with our rules is at the sole discretion of the Administrators and Moderators of this message board and is not open to debate.
Repeated violations of this rule will result in the termination of your membership priveldges.
Spamming
Advertising of any kind via PM to members of this message board is considered spamming. Repeated violations of this rule will result in immediate termination of your membership.
Give Aways and Free Items
You may post a maximum of three threads (one thread in three forums) listing your item or items you are giving away.
Raffles
Raffle ticket sales of any kind by anyone or any organization are not allowed.
Dog Shooting Threads
Over the past several years many threads related to opinions about dogs being on property other than the owner of the animal have been posted. In all instances these threads have become heated and in most cases have resulted in threats, name calling, etc. This results in the Moderators having to delete posts and referee the arguments that erupt.
In the interest of keeping the peace, effective immediately threads or posts that relate to wandering dogs, shooting dogs, poisoning dogs, etc, will be deleted without notice or communication.
Libel
Because of the changes regarding libel laws and liability, any threads or posts made about businesses or individuals that are derogatory, accusational or suggest illegal dealings will be deleted. We cannot accept the liability of being sued for libel because you feel you were poorly dealt with in a business deal or other transaction with anybody else, regardless of if they are a member here or not. If you have such a problem, deal with it personally, but do not post about it here. Repeated violations of this rule will result in immediate termination of your membership without recourse.
Copyrighted Material
Although many sites allow sharing and reposting of their content elsewhere on the web many other sites do not and are aggressive in protecting their copyrighted material. Since it is impossible to sort out who allows republishing of copyrighted material and who doesn't, consider any published material on other websites to be copyrighted and you may not post it here.
You may post a link to the other site and its' content.

Well, I don't cuss and prefer not to hear or see it, but realize in the real world it might not be realistic.
I heard it all the time, of course, when I played football, and later when I got a "real" job at work.
That said, it is their forum and their rules. If they are clear about it, then it's hard to argue with it.
That's about as strict as it can get, but it keeps it family friendly. I am guessing either they want to keep it kid friendly for kids that want to hunt and discuss hunting, or they are Christians, and just want to keep it as clean as possible.
As long as it is spelled out clearly it's hard to complain.

My buddies and I are thinking go to Chicago Thursday, enjoy the city that day (maybe catch the Cubbies depending on the schedule) and then go up to South Bend Saturday AM. Not sure if we wanna do that or go Friday night but I have heard South Bend kind of blows.

The hard part is going back and forth between that site and other sites, you forget.
I don't really go there anymore, as I don't have the time for outdoor activities in my life right now, will change next year. It really is a treasure trove of outdoor knowledge on many many subjects.
