I reject the war cry to replace Richt. Look at what's happened to Nebraska Wisconsin USC (getting rid of Orgeron) Auburn Texas Tennessee.
IMHO the east does not prepare this team well enough. The guys in the west play big games like this more often. I know schedules are set years in advance, so start now filling the OOC schedule with teams like Texas, MiamiU, PennSt, Oregon, Wisconsin, TCU (these teams would be willing to play home & away) so when these types of games come around the players aren't overcome with emotion.
Look Alabama isn't a world better than UGA, they just handled the emotions of a heavyweight title fight better.

And that's the same problem every season. We have plenty of talent, but they never handle their emotions better. We obviously do a shitty job of coaching up our players for these games. I can't recall a time I've seen an elite team in the past decade jumping up and down and making asses of themselves as the other team takes the field. The great teams carry on with their business and don't stoop to the stupid shite we do. Why is it that every other coach can keep their players focused and under control while Richt can't? What the hell is he doing?

Auburn under Tubberville acted this way (also MiamiU) but they often backed it up.
I fall back on my thoughts, UGA doesn't get as many big games as say west teams do so they aren't as experienced in controlling the emotions of the big games.

The point of the story is you can keep excepting mediocrity and excuses from Richt and go ahead and stencil in a 8-4 or 9-3 season and a toilet bowl game. The other idea is push for a real coach that wasn't just Bobby Bowden's dry clean, delivery , butt wiper, right hand . UGA football and fans deserve better, stop making excuses about the UT dumpster fires, both schools let mediocre coaches stay too long, BTW, both those coaches still each had a NC. Richt will NEVER win one. Stop gettign butt hurt when someone cticizes a coach for the most unprepared arse beating that I have ever seen in modern UGA history. He's been here 15 years and has had bed shittng blow outs in 13 of those 15 years. The only ones that didn't have beat downs, why yes, 02 and 05. That's 10 years ago and what the hell has he done lately? Nothing. TIME FOR CHANGE. Half of you need to renew your annual disney passes to get your free micky ears, but shut the frick up when a fan tells you the goddamn truth about OUR shite hole coach!

Plus what about Richt before he got hired here? He was unproven as a head coach, yet it worked out for a few years. If we got rid of Richt, could we not hire a coach that is even better? Yes, but we could hire a dud. Either way, Richt isn't getting us over the top. Changes must be made if we are in hopes of winning the SEC or a NC. If those aren't our goals, then sure keep richt and have him open up a church.

He's won BIG, superbowl, that ring alone will bring racruits and his brother is turning Meechigan into a powerhouse. They are from a coaching family. Also Gary Patterson, PJ Fleck at CMU, if UDUB has a better year steal Chris Peterson. ALso talk to Pete Carrol! UGA is a great school and deserves better than Captain Dipshit!!

Fwiw, the 3 guys I'd be interested in are Herman, Morris, and Pruitt.
But having Richt as the head coach and Pruitt as the DC works for me.

Yeah, let's hire a guy that went 15-9 at PSU including losses to Ohio, Virginia, UCF, Indiana, Minnesota, and 2 average nebraska teams.
