Name the college football teams who go undefeated or have only one or two losses every year.

Yea because people have clearly been mad solely about the fact that UGA loses. Has nothing to do with getting beaten routinely by inferior teams multiple times every season.

Routinely beaten by inferior teams?

We wouldn't have lost to UT this year if Chubb wasn't injured on our first offensive play.

Besides, all winter and spring y'all have been bitching about whether Lambert should be QB because he can't throw a long pass then he throws a perfect long pass that would have tied the game but it was dropped.

That ain't Richt's fault.

But whatever it takes to fit your narrative. Don't strain yourself too hard trying to actually see how people with an opposing opinion came to it.

Hey, you can say the glass is half empty but I'm not going to let you piss on me just because I say the glass is half full.

Yes. Routinely, as in almost every year.

Yea, that 24-3 lead must've been a figment of my imagination.

It's not easy when a coach has to change his complete game plan right after the first offensive play and still win.

quote:

Well that's good because Richt said they didn't change it.

Does that mean after our first offensive play, Richt was going to sit Chubb for the rest of the game?

Get real, dude.

Richt's game plan was to use Chubb as much as possible but after Chubb was injured Richt had to change that plan.

Damn, you Richt haters can't even argue honestly.

You would have a point if Chubb played D and Sony was awful at RB, but neither are true.

Almost every year?

That doesn't sound like routinely to me. That sounds more like once in a while to me.

Almost every team plays a lousy game once in a while.

Routine could easily be considered annually. If you want to avoid a discussion about semantics, just admit It happens more often than it should

Sony may be a good RB but he is no Chubb.

Let me understand you correctly.

Are you saying that if Chubb had played the entire game then we still would have lost?

One time is more often than it should happen but it does happen to most teams once in a while.

Have you ever played in a game where you knew you had the better team but you lost anyways?

Sorry, but I'm not getting on the Fire Richt band wagon just because of one bad loss to Bama and a loss to UT due to the major injury to Chubb and a dropped pass.

It's more than this year. It's the no shows against Alabama and Florida in 2008. It's the abortions of 2009-2010 that produced a 14-12 record. It's the 2012 no show against South Carolina. It's getting dominated at home by Missouri and losing to fricking Vanderbilt(!) in 2013. Injuries are no excuse to lose to Vanderbilt. It's losing to a horrible South Carolina team and getting annihilated by an even worse Florida team in 2014. It's getting slaughtered at home by Alabama and losing to an awful Tennessee team so far in 2015. This shite has accumulated way, way too much over the years.

Losing sucks, and there is never an excuse for losing to bad football teams. Losing to good teams sucks, but I can live with it as long as the team is competitive and shows some fight. They weren't competitive and didn't show any fight in several of the losses listed above. That's on Richt.

Why are people so ok with this subpar performance when we have top ten classes almost every year? I just don't get it.

Meh, like I said, a few losses once in a while.

Every team no matter how good it is loses some games that they should win once in a while.

That's not "once in awhile". That's a trend that you can set your watch to.

14-22 against ranked teams since 2007.

Does that sound like a guy that's doing his job to you?
Compared to a 24-13 record through 2006.
4-13 record vs top 10 teams.

I'm curious. When people point out these facts to you, what do you say to counter them?

Don't worry. I'll wait.

My computer is taking too long to get to that link but I'm sure it's the same reasons the Anti Richt crowd has been using since 2008.

Kind of like the dropoff from Gurley to Chubb. Its just not a big one in terms of production. I dont think Chubb would have outperformed Sony's performance by any meaningful amount, and again, he didnt play D.
