This.

Nobody's that stupid or blind, at least I hope not.

I love when people try to argue facts with opinions.

Surely Lambert's perfect long pass that would have tied the UT game should have been caught, right?

You keep harping on this when you're missing the bigger point. You've missed the bigger point during the whole thread. Even if Davis had caught it, Tennessee wouldn't have been in clock killing mode on offense and probably would have scored again anyways.

You've missed my point that if Chubb hadn't been injured on our first offensive play then we wouldn't have needed Lambert's perfect long pass to tie the game.

I don't troll.

I speak my mind even when people don't like it.

And if UT didn't have a fumble returned for a TD on 1st and goal from the 2 foot mark the bomb wouldn't have mattered. Bad team, got plenty of breaks, manufactured a loss. Seen it before and we'll see it again. It is the only consistent thing about CMR.

You better not look in the mirror.

Yeah, like the fact that Chubb getting injured on our first offensive play of the game was the main reason we lost to UT.

Yeah hard to believe we got up 24-3 without him.

SOS lost 8 of 9 SEC games dating back to last season. Wonder who his lone W was against??

How do you know how many TDs Chubb would have scored if he could have played the entire game or how many points Georgia would have been ahead of UT by the end of the game if Chubb hadn't been injured?

The only consistent thing about you is that you are looking for any excuse to blame the loss on CMR.

I'm not.

Are you kidding me? Your arse doesn't qualify as a valid source.
I hate to even call people out like this on a message board. Losing Chubb was terrible, and I certainly feel for the kid, but that should have had 0 bearing on our game plan or the end result of that game. Sony rushed for well over a hundred yards in his absence.

This even goes back to the Alabama game. Having Nick Chubb certainly didn't help us not get run out of our own building by an above average Alabama team.

We got a lucky touchdown because of the way the ball bounced.

However, if Chubb had played then we would have won the game.

Still missing the point, I see. Georgia shouldn't need Chubb to be superman to beat Tennessee. Tennessee is awful. Even without Chubb, Georgia should beat them by at least a touchdown.

So does your brilliant arse think we still would have lost to UT even if Chubb played the entire game?

You are a fricking moron if you think that.

How do you think the entire team felt immediately after Chubb was injured and taken out of the game?

Do you think it might negatively affect how they played the rest of the game?

Completely agree.

I would have more respect for people if they would just come out and say this:

"I don't care that Mark Richt continually underachieves. He is a good man who loves God, and that is all I care about in my football coach. I don't care that we have top ten classes year after year, but fail to even win our division when it is terrible. I don't care about being a champion."

^ At least this I would have more respect for, jesus fricking christ.

Ummm, very highly motivated?

I very much doubt they were even that concerned with it by the second quarter. If they were, that is another failure with the coaching staff for not getting the guys focused again.

Edit: I can in no way vouch for our courageous and awesome soldiers in the military, but I would think if I were, and one of my fellow soldiers was badly injured, I would fight that much harder for him.

Can somebody testify to this? Or am I off base here?

Yep, we all have a line somewhere. I'd rather do what we're doing instead of AU with Cam or Miami of the late 80's. I've just decided the last two weeks coupled with the last 15 years isn't what or where I want UGA to be.

And if someone said they were ok with a clean program and a SECE title every couple of years I could respect that. But don't play like we are a contender, cause we are not.

Georgia shouldn't need players like Chubb, Gurley, Walker or Tarkenton to win games and championships but we do.

You need an overall team effort with good to great players at all positions. Chubb isn't a great running back without a great offensive line to open holes. That's why you need great coaching.

I think I understand why the state of Georgia is so star happy now. I never got it before why all the hawks fans showed up when Lebron was in town, or when all the fans bailed on the Thrashers when Kovolchuk left, but we got a handful of players that made the "team" better.

I get it now. Thank you for bringing that to light.

I highly doubt it.

I'm certain they were in shock and not very highly motivated just like most UGA fans were.

Did you think highly motivated thoughts about UGA winning the game immediately after Chubb was injured?
