I can't remember us having schedules as easy as the ones we have had the last 5 years. The east has been very weak and our out of conference opponents get weaker every year.
This year is perhaps the toughest schedule as it turns out in those five years and we played SU, ULM and will play GaSouthern.

Are you sure that he isn't here now?

Put me down as a no.
Was it CMR's fault that Chubb was injured on our first offensive play of the game?
Was it CMR who dropped a sure touchdown pass by Lambert at the end of the game that would have tied the game?
Sorry, but I'm not getting on the Fire Richt band wagon just because of one bad loss to Bama and a loss to UT due to the major injury to Chubb and a dropped pass.

You think this is a reaction to only this?

Yeah we lost to Tennessee bc of those two things alone right?
Like Michel didn't have 140 yards rushing.
Like we didn't shite the bed and give up a 24-3 lead.
Nope, we lost that game because of a play that shouldn't of had to be made and an injury.
Pro Richt guys are idiots.

I didn't say that only those two things cost us the UT game but are you saying if Chubb wasn't injured then we still would have lost the game?
It's not easy when a coach has to change his complete game plan right after the first offensive play and still win.
And regardless of what happened during the rest of the game, we still would have tied and went into overtime if the perfect pass by Lambert wasn't dropped.
There would be no excuse for the Richt haters to pull the fire Richt bandwagon out of the barn again and hitch the horses up to it if we had won the UT game.

quote:Well that's good because Richt said they didn't change it. I'm assuming that's why Michel still wasn't part of the passing game. And that's against a Martinez/Jancek coached team.

Name the college football teams that go undefeated or have only one or two losses every year.
Yeah, when you find the team then we can fire Richt and hire their coach.

Nah, you're right. I always liked Orlando in January anyway and now that it's virtually a lock we go there it'll help with planning. You know, aside from a few trips to Memphis and Charlotte.

quote:Yea because people have clearly been mad solely about the fact that UGA loses. Has nothing to do with getting beaten routinely by inferior teams multiple times every season.

But whatever it takes to fit your narrative. Don't strain yourself too hard trying to actually see how people with an opposing opinion came to it.

You know, it's not that bad. Very mild and the parks aren't very crowded.

I put this in one of the other threads, and figure it belongs here too, since I'm too lazy to retype:
quote:
The thing I've posted over and over about the Richt situation since 2008, is that while he doesn't like to lose (who does?), he isn't focused on winning.
Granted, he says he wants to win, and anybody making $11,000 a day had better fricking at least say that they want to win, but there's a world of difference between saying that you want to win and actually being able to suck it up and get your players out of the funk they're playing in and squeezing every last drop of talent, tears blood and sweat out of those kids and make the team as a whole greater than the sum of the 85 parts that make it up.
That underlying impression I get is that there is a list of things a mile long in his book that all take precedence over winning as a football team. That's great for a mentor. It's great for a pastor and a youth leader, but it's a piss-poor state of mind for a multi millionaire, professional coach/CEO of one of the dozen most recognizable football teams in the college game. Richt's priorities softens his edge. It undermines that killer instinct that a Div I HC should have to absolutely detest losing - to better teams and especially to fricking dumpster fire programs that are circling the toilet bowl.
Mark Richt has breathed more life into doomed programs that he has his own.

You guys don't deserve to have a winning team because all y'all are such lousy losers.
After all, you can't be a good winner until you are a good loser.
We lose our best players, Gurley last year and Chubb this year, to injuries and y'all act like that wasn't the main reason why we lost a few games.
All y'all can say is, "It was Richt's fault. Let's fire him!"
Y'all suck at being UGA fans.
GO FIRE YOURSELVES!!!
