What was your reaction.......the second the gut-wrenching fluke catch was caught last night? I'm just interested to know how people instinctively cope with something like that.

Did you break/punch something? Fall face first on the floor and weep? Immediately post some emoticons on SECRant.com? Say "frick it" and change the channel?........or what?

Me. I just instinctively walked out of the room and kept walking around the house with my head hanging down and my mouth wide open. For a minute I had that lump in your throat feeling, you get when shite that really matters breaks your heart, but it went away pretty quick. I made one pass back by the TV to check for any flags that may have been thrown on the play before I set off walking.........and then just went outside and sat on the porch for twenty minutes or so. I didn't know it until then, but there was a full moon last night. It was very peaceful.

What about you?

I just laughed.....Pretty much sums up the entire season. Anything that can go wrong for Georgia has. Haven't caught a break all season.

I laughed and said "typical." I wasn't surprised at all. It was 4th and Grantham afterall, so why should I be surprised? That play was Georgia football in a nutshell.

I was kept "just one more down Georgia" and then I stood in the upper deck in silence for the rest of the game

Heart sank.

I knew the game was over at that moment.

I tried to console myself by playing video games, but that just made me more annoyed. My wife was not happy with my attitude yesterday.

I sat there silently in disbelief for a solid 20 minutes. When the game ended I poured myself a stiffer beverage than what I had been working with previously and sat on the porch. I didn't really eat much dinner because I felt sort of sick to my stomach. I didn't go out because I was in such a bad mood.

As soon as I saw we were in a three man rush prevent, I knew we were screwed. We can't even run the base packages, so the likelihood of screwing up that play was enormous. When the play was made, I just shook my head. It was UGA football 2013 captured in a single play.

I had been cheering during the whole comeback and defensive stand to 4th. I was yelling something because you could see the pass was well defended until our guys mucked it up.......my wife and I went dead silent....she said "awwwwww no". It was a gut punch.

I walked out of the room into the bedroom....realized I did it for no reason...walked back in and then walked back out again.....I couldn't watch. I got online just to wallow in self pity with everyone else afterward.

Worst loss I ever remember.

I said "Thanks Obama" and went outside to take the ribs off of the grill and then proceeded to eat my tasty dinner while watching Bama look like Ole Miss.

It felt almost surreal like it was in slow motion and somewhere in the back of my mind I thought of Larry Munson giving the play by play.

That's a once in a blue moon type of play, you know it makes the game great and we Dawgs had our chance to score afterward and seal it but give Auburn credit they did what they had too.

I didn't even watch the Alabama game just made sure everybody had a plate to take home and shut it all down.

Good thread!
