Seriously.... Do y'all think Fulton Chastain IV, JR from Roswell, VP of SAE, owner of a 5 series BMW and banger of countless sorority whores is living on $80 a week? Who net/net is bringing in more to tha school? Granted, this same young man is awestruck when he sees Trigga and gets his pic with him and puts it on FB to 200 thumbs up and sweet bros...yet, he is also the same young man who calls him a stupid **** thug when he drops a sure int or gets in trouble with the law... Yet, he is also the same young man who got a DUI in PC last summer and avoided two date rape accusations with the help of his father at Fulton, Chastain, and Epps, Attorneys at law. Thankfully, he was able to get a pledge to cop for the X tabs.

But date raping, casual drug selling, book making, test stealing white fratsters from good families are just having some fun in college....boys will be boys.... But if some highly athletic '****' does it, well, then he is a thug POS...

...and that does not change much when they get older...

The only reason frat boy pranks do not make the news is that no one gives a frick other than the plasticized 50 something sorority whores at the tennis club .... while discussing the child of one of their friends who happens to not be present at the table...

I say fire everyone... Burn down the school and start over... Who's with me?

That's a strong damn post right there.

The world is full of POS's who have everything in the world handed to them and poor bastards that can't seem to catch a break. Dealing with folks like this and not letting them affect you is one of the things you learn in life.

I agree though that these kids are under a microscope and I sure wouldn't judge anyone in college that does something stupid. IMO if you haven't been arrested at least once you're probably not very fun to be around.

I just don't think paying players is the answer....but no need to rehash that again.

What happened to hard work? You see that guy with the Mercedes so you bust your arse so you can be that guy. They all went thru the same thing. Pay your college dues, bust your arse to get drafted and make the big bucks.

Secondly, as far as I know there isn't one of us on this board that has talent like these players have. I mean talent that is so good that it could end up being a million dollar payday. IF you work hard. Hey man, you make me live on $80 a week and tell me if I work hard, follow the rules, don't break any laws, plus I'm getting free tuition, room and board, and I could end up making millions in just three years??? What student wouldn't want that deal?

Hard work. That's what we're talking about. Idiots like Crowell get no sympathy from me. You don't need a gun with the serial numbers filed off in Athens if you're one of the best players on the team. You just don't. They wanna live this lifestyle without paying their dues. That's the real BS here.

You mean getting up at 6am to go to work outs and piss in a cup? mandatory study hall so you make good enough grades to still be able to play football and make money for the team? 4 hours of practice and breaking down films and studying plays?

While Fulton is sipping a beer on the front of the SAE house while practice is going on commenting on how lucky those lazy thug ****s are?

... And Mark a Richt and the other coaches at the big schools are selling the star player's parents on Education, but the NFL dream is the sizzle.

...and hard work? Listen... One full season... Summer work outs, pre season camp...aka 2 a days when I did it...season grind...bowl practice while everyone is home for Christmas break...bowl game ... Then right into winter workouts ... Getting up at 6 am in the cold to bust your arse before classes... Then pretend voluntary skeleton drills and running in the afternoon... Spring practice... Then right back into summer workouts....

Hard work? Seriously...go frick yourself and your hard work...

I guess if you don't want it then don't play. No one is making these guys play football.

And while we're at it: adoring fans, crowds cheering for you every Saturday, countless women throwing themselves at you, and you get to do what most men only dream of: wearing red and white playing football between the hedges with some of the best football talent in the world. Yeah, that's worth getting up at 6am for.
UGA would struggle to be as good as Vandy
. That would be embarrassing.

I know it is hard to convey this, but when you are a star and you see other kids taking dates to expensive dinners and driving nice cars and you are getting enough money to scrape by, it is not easy to accept. Then you see a guy a few years older than you who signed a NFL contract driving a Mercedes with wide rims, it eats at a lot of the guys. You can be mad at this fact and justify it with the wisdom of a middle aged white guy and that is fine, but frankly, it is ignorant on your part. I am not excusing the theft aspect, but the desire for more money is not unique to college football players. What sucks is I am sure they hear from the other players they grew up and were recruited with how they are getting taken care of...

No offense, but your wrong if you think I don't know what it's like to not have much. I graduated recently and I lost pretty much everything due to health issues soon after I began my job. I have a phone and a checking account. Most of my friends from college are loaded. Sure, I'm jealous of them. They're living the life. That doesn't mean I want to take shortcuts or take advantage of others to get back to the place in life I should be at. I'm thankful that I have what I have.

For the point about what players think about UGA, I agree completely.

you know there are people in the world who think the SAE kid you are talking about AND the football players breaking the law are all pieces of shite, right?
