I thought part of the mobile depositing was that if the hard copy is cashed , then the Mobile deposit is debited back from your account.
From what I heard, they mobile deposited to wells fargo, then went to suntrust for the physical cashing. It wouldnt be caught until the clearing house or from the AD seeing the same check being applied to two different banks

This is what pisses me off though. People call us THUGA when in reality we have an overzealous police department arresting people for not having their license on them or driving a moped the wrong way or passing out in a bathroom drunk. While other schools -cough-FSU-cough have legitimate murderers on there team and not one peep is heard about it. Or UT knocking out cops or UF with threatening to kill people. But we get the bad rap for having DUIs and rubbing pregnant girls bellies.

No , you are right it was stupid, I was just wondering why 3 of them were arrested? Lemay cashed someone else's , so I get that. But the others, I would think the bank would just debit their account and move on ..
I don't think they are arresting everyone who does this, either by accident or on purpose.
I could see easily, how someone could deposited, forget they did that and then cash a week later.
