may throw a south ga throw down next weekend at my property with you sowega and 478 if you can get him to make the trip. We'll have camp smoking like Cheech and Chong. Make sure you bring your wife Molly and her friend Tina.

Large.

Got home from work around 6 or so. Had some people over and had to cook pork chops and steak. The egg had to cool down before the butt could go on. Once the smoke starts, so does the drinking.

I feel ya, I didn't get home till around 645 but usually crack a beer as a light up the grill on Fridays.

I wish my Akorn was bigger. I may get another smoker soon just for when I'm have a group of people over and doing ribs. I can only cook two racks on mine. shite pisses me off.

How much money did you spend on a smoker that can't cook more than 2 racks of baby backs?

How often do you cook more than 2 racks of ribs? A "dish rack" on a kamado style grill will beat the Wal-Mart shite every time.

Why do you constantly ask me about my financial situation?

I dont give a shite about your financial situation. I asked you how much you spent on a smoker that only holds two racks. If you only spent a hundred or so, no big deal.

My wife got it for me for my birthday. I only cook ribs maybe once a month, and only need more than two racks a couple times a year. I don't understand why it would be a big deal either way. If I have a need for another one I'll go buy it. It's a pretty simple fix.

Weird motherfricker. If you don't give a shite, quit asking.

Yup.

You wrap your butt or leave it open the whole time? I used to leave mine open for the whole cook but started wrapping when it stalled around 160. Still has great bark but cooks a little faster and seems to be more tender. Could be in my mind or the fact that by that point in the cook I'm slammed.

Foil never touches my butt. I did wrap one and didn't notice much of a difference.
