How's everyone's birds looking? Mine has been smoking since noon @300. Sat in brine about 18 hours. Already injected 2.5 sticks of butter in that biotch. Time to pack on the winter weight!

Smoked then deep fried two turkeys yesterday afternoon. They turned out well. Great smoking weather with mild temperatures. It'll probably be a bit colder when I try it again at Christmas. Happy Thanksgiving and good cooking to all.

Maw,maw had it going on, of course I did the jerked bone in turkey breast stuffed with andouille sausage.
Family pestilence came in and cleaned it up like ants on a picnic.
