Rumor starting to float around that Bauta is transferring to Colorado St... Threads on 247 & Rivals... He has graduated so he would not have to sit a year......

If so I guess someone else has been told they're the starter...

That'd really bum me out. Because if he leaves and we don't get Golson then suddenly we are stuck with two kids with great arms and the accuracy of a 12 gauge with a skeet choke.

May as well just run Wild Dawg and call it a season.

Until Golson enrolls somewhere else I am totally going to pretend he will be our next QB and holy shite will the Kool Aid be flowing when he is moved to Athens.

Comes to UGA: The missing piece. Gives us a battle tested and championship experienced QB to give us a better option that anyone we have. SEC title or bust

Goes to UF: Haha suckers! The guy is a walking turnover and was BENCHED at ND! Guy was suspended for grades, he's probably dumb as a fencepost and couldn't pick up our offense anyway!

The whole thing has seemed to be a Ramsey/Bauta competition since early in camp. If Bauta really is gone, it looks like we are putting our trust in Brice.

Prepare yourselves - heartburn is coming.

Somebody get LadyLuck or PeterBuck on the case so they can give us the scoop!

you know, "here's our great graduate programs and a full ride for your services as a QB, what do you say?"

"I want more"

"Okay, we are allowed to give you some extra pairs of shoes and book money, plus an extra $75 per month over the summer."

"Let me think about these negotiations, the offer sounds great now"

If he goes to a team we play I plan on deleting my post history and laughing at the university of _____ for being so short sighted and laugh at all the ensuing turnovers

Fisher said that no player is a guaranteed starter and in the same breath he said that he and Golson are negotiating.

I guess that means that if Golson chooses FSU Fisher might shine his shoes or wash his car or both, depends.

They can have him. And wherever he goes, Golson will be going there for the sole purpose of showcasing his skills for the NFL, not to be a team player. He is leaving Notre Dame because he lost his job and he wants to prove he's got the skills to be an NFL QB in the one year he has left. He will not want to be assimilated into a team concept where he may have to hand off 30 times and be a game manager so as to make as few mistakes as possible.

He's going to want to be a gunslinger. That's what caused him to be a turnover machine, lost him the QB job at ND and the more this plays out, the less I want him here.

He let his team down with his academics and then, when the going got tough, left the team and is wanting to negotiate his way onto a team that will let him 'star'.

No frickin' thanks.
