I am also hearing that it is a done deal on word but not paper at this time. Unless something drastic happens it's official.
Here is the kicker
Kirby is getting things that Richt couldn't get in 15 years as far as control goes. Crazy when you think about it. I am not an insider just seems to be a general consensus on every board.

The article only mentions Rocker. Anyone know if Pruitt is staying as well?

Smart, Pruitt, Helton. The entire D-staff, Brown and McClendon plus a couple of Bama coaches.

no decent candidate would come to Athens without this, and I think PJN is a factor in this as well. Adams has to be given some credit for the decline in sports at athens

Why do I have this gut feeling we lose JP and end up with Muschamp??...I know...and honestly...I think Muschamp is going to end up an excellent DC...but...it should be interesting

So who's the DC going to be? Apparently the one definite to be retained from current staff is Tracy Rocker.

Would you guys like Boom as a DC?

I'd prefer Pruitt, but I'd take him.

Just came up on my FB feed. Hope we keep Pruitt. Fingers crossed.

Yes. If we can't have pruitt, I want boom. There's no denying that he's a great DC, and his heart is at UGA... Lets bring them home, and lock down eason. Hunker down

In all honesty, it is this fact that makes me realize I may be truly breaking with Georgia on any level other than casual interest. They had a guy that showed nothing but loyalty to them no matter how crappy they made his job, and now, they want to open the purse strings for a guy that publicly used them for a raise?
Quite frankly, that is hypocritical bullshite, and who wants to support that? If I am going to continue to watch a game that has the power to destroy the lives of its players with insidious inevitability, I have to have think that something good can come out of it.
Luckily, this means that I have been able to watch the saga this week with bemused detachment rather than anxiety. If UGA wins again, great, if they don't, this administration deserves every turd they step in, so it will be entertaining regardless.

Boom is a great backup plan if thats the case. Two great DC and recruiters. Both are really solid options but i'd prefer JP.
