Surgery will be needed. But that's not a bad thing. Healing from surgery's usually better than healing in a cast. If it was a leg I'd be much more concerned. He'll be healed in 2 months.

It required surgery so it was bad enough. Apparently the cast or whatever they're using as a fixator will be off prior to the start of fall practice. But I seriously doubt he would be allowed full contact. Seems like this may affect two key early season games.
