A-List begins and ends with D'Eriq King.
He's Heisman caliber, immediately eligible, makes all the throws, and he can move in and out of the pocket - exactly what this offense needs.
I hope he enters.

Cmon now guys none of these guys are gonna be world beaters because if they were they wouldn't be in the transfer portal (Burrow being literally the perfect storm exception).
Give me the best available and lets roll with it. I just hop eit happens quick so we can get them on campus and going asap.

We need a QB with some mobility. The Oline will still be good but there will be a decline.

Jamie Newman looks pretty good. Kid has a cannon for an arm and is pretty accurate. Throwing motion and pocket presence looks good too.

Stats for 2019:
12 games, 220/361 (61%) for 2868 yards, 26 TD's, 11 ints, 180 att for 574 yards rushing, 6 TD's.
He's not a burner, but clearly he's mobile. I wish he was a bit more accurate, but I'm sure some of that is on sub-par receivers and OL too.
D'Eriq King's stats are nuts, but the kid is a shrimp at 5'11, 195. And he only played in 4 games this past season, did he get hurt?

11 games, 219/345 (63.5%) for 2982 yards, 36 TD's, 6 ints, 111 att for 674 yards rushing, 14 TD's.
So 50 TD's in 2018 is pretty incredible. Not sure what happened in 2019. But King is really fast and quick. Probably runs 4.4x, and has a great arm for his size.
However, he's not in the xfer portal, so probably moot.

King played 4 games and decided to take a redshirt year to reevaluate his options.

Jamie Newman is the best pocket passer available. He's very mobile, albeit not as mobile as D'Eriq King .

Newman looks like the best one out there. I want to see him playing for UGA next season

There are lots of good options. Even a few that would improve us at the position next year.

He isn’t in the portal because of the national championship game. I expect it will be done and announced on Tuesday, Jan 14.
