Excellent stuff. Love the playlist, particularly the Skynyrd, Willie, Yoakam, and Zevon choices.

I received a jawbone jambox wireless speaker as a gift, and I didn't even know what it was....

But, if the thing stopped working tomorrow, I wouldn't even be pissed....because I've ran it several hours just about every day since I got it dropping it on it's head every day in between.

Time waits for no thing...

She passed away peacefully in her sleep sometime on a Tuesday night/Wednesday morning.

Played a podcast Tuesday evening as flawlessly as the first time. But, would not turn on again the next morning.

R.I.P.

Laid to rest in the attic with…the I-pod, the I-pod docking station, the cd player, the sony disc-man, the cassette player boom box, the walk-man, the vinyl record player.... and the other musical relics of this life.

Onward.

When it finally gives out, I may look into that Bose model you got.
Bought a Bose sound link mini last week and love it. It has great sound at both high and low volumes. Sitting out back grilling and listening to some music now, good stuff.

So, I bought a new Bose SOund Link today as a replacement.

shite sounds incredible. Crystal clear and very full sound and the max volume is probably 1.5 times that of the old jawbone. Also, it doesn't vibrate around and fall off the counter either if you don't lodge it against something.

We'll have to wait and see if the battery actually lasts 14 hours as advertisedthough. I highyly doubt it will.

Note to Self: Don't wait five years to upgrade your shite anymore in this world. Things are moving fast. (typed on WIndows Vista))

It's amazing how good it sounds and how much of a punch it packs for how small it is.

Yea I was able to make it to the Lakewood shows, Tuscaloosa and Nashville. The 2nd set of that Friday show was some of the best I've seen them play in a long time. And the Carini and Sand that Saturday was rockin. It's always interesting seeing Phish fans mingle with the residents of Lakewood. Almost like Camden but somehow not quite as shitty.

I streamed 2nd set Friday, and was at the show Saturday.

Carini reminded me of the old days, the salad days as they say.

I'm a horrible set picker, but I did call the Runaway Jim.

I called that motherfricker.

My biggest disappointment was that they didn't extend out Crosseyed and Painless in Nashville but anytime they play some Talking Heads I'm happy.

Yea Carini is one my favorite songs to hear them play now because it usually goes into that darker jam. I think practicing for the GD50 shows is the best thing to happen to Trey in a long time, much more confident. He'd gotten to where he relied on chords a lot and let the rest of the band jam until he did his typical build up riff but he's starting to get back out there a lot more.

I was at the Omni in 1996 for Halloween when they played Remain in Light.

I also was there in Lakewood in the 90's the first time they ever played Roses are Free.... everyone was like "This must be a new song from the new album" and I was like "No! It's Ween! It's Ween!" and they were all like "Oh, it's a new Phish song called Ween!?!"

Trey needs to not get in the middle of squabbling brothers.

Trey is probably saying it because he has experience breaking a band up by causing too many problems.
