Sorry about your mom.

But, disco still sucks. I can dig ew&f, some kc, but a steady diet of ABBA would lead to me slitting my wrists.

Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, the Spinners, etc., killed rock & roll.

I still wake up in middle of the night, from nightmares of blue jeans with no back pockets, platform shoes, white belts and my gf begging me to line dance. The horror, the horror.

Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers. It's been a tough several months....but we all go through it at one time or other.

However, both are strong Christian people, and nothing will spoil this time of year for them. We will have a good Christmas, and in many ways might be the best one in some time!

Sorry to hear that, man. I lost my mom unexpectedly in April, just a couple weeks shy of her 65th birthday. Lost both of my grandparents (on her side) the year before. Never knew the grandparents on my dad's side cause he was pretty old when I was born (much older than my mom). This Christmas has been a tearjerker at times for me already as I realize that my mom isn't here now. It will hopefully get better with time.

Praying for you and your family. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Allman Brothers

I've also seen a Natl Championship in person. Only game I missed in 80 was Kentucky and have regretted not going ever since.
