I lost my car one Friday night after starting out at the 5th quarter. Parked the car, rode with friends to the 5th quarter, woke up on Saturday before the game and had no idea where I left my car.

Class of '96. Mine was a disaster looking back.
Quad City DJ's, Alanis Morisette (I know, I know), Garth Brooks, Brooks and Dunn, Reba, Gin Blossoms, LL Cool J, Coolio, Smashing Pumkins, The Presidents of the USA, Outkast, Hootie, George Strait, Joe Joe Joe Diffie, Collin Raye, Shania Twain, and of course all the classic rock and country.

You may look back and cringe, but if you were class of 96 EVERYONE was listening to all that. Can't fault you there.

Man, your generation's music sucked.
Say what you want about looser suits and rayon shirts, the 70's had superb music - particularly the first half of the decade.
I guess disco was our version of rap. I can't stand either.

I graduated in 2004 so what I was listening to then isn't THAT far removed from today.

Looking back, this might be the only thing that helps me sleep tonight. At least we all sucked.

You now....I used to feel the same way about Disco...but I've warmed up to it. You just can't listen to it without tapping your toes....mainly because those are the only moving parts, I have left! But, all in all, it's catchy.
I lie some new music, too. "Sail" is pretty good, although some hate it. You Wanna Make a Memory by Bon Jovi is not bad. There are some newer music like Three Days Grace I like, too.

I am not a big Country fan...but if you don't like George Strait there is something wrong with you. LOVE his music!

Like I said I'm c/o 2004 so I obviously wasn't born then, but I'll stick up for disco. I know people hate it because it supposedly killed rock and was kinda out there, but if you don't start swaying and singing along with Abba or the beegees come on you just don't enjoy a good tune, IMO.

I'm with you, there. I used to hate it....liked it when it was popular, then got tired of it and hated it, and now I am liking it. BeeGees, ABBA...there's actually some pretty good stuff out there.
Shoot. I'll admit it...I really like the Carpenters, too. Karen Carpenter had one of the best womens voices of all time. NOBODY had or has a better voice.
No comments, guys. I draw the line at rude comments about Karen Carpenter!

Unfortunately, I am sitting in the hospital with my mom. She is not doing well. Stayed with my dad for 6 weeks a short time ago when he had surgery, and now her. She will be in here on Christmas, but that's ok. I will be right here with her and my dad, so we will just have Christmas in the hospital....and my wife. Better include her! She will be here with us, too!

That stinks. Praying for your mom.

Thoughts & prayers sent, always tough at the holidays...My dad's been gone since the late '90's but my mom is 78 & healthier than I am...
