so any vote that isn't Hillary should be for Trump, IMO.

Using this strategy every single election is exactly why we are still in this 2 party mess.

That's what makes this unique. Folks on both sides are fed up and they are drawn to the message these guys are selling.

Until we have a reality to the contrary, I'll continue to say this. If we honestly had 50-75% of the country fed up to the point where they would not vote D or R, then that statement would be no longer useful. That is not the case yet as we're looking at 10-20% at most considering a vote for Johnson or Stein. It's a large number but not nearly enough to be a viable option.

A third party movement needs to gain steam outside of an election year.

There's nothing unique about this. 3rd party candidates have been drawing away huge amounts of votes from D's and R's for a long time. There seems to be a greater number of people showing displeasure for the D and R candidates but not enough people are pledging to vote for Johnson or Stein to add up to a viable third option.

Again, all we have are people are drawing votes away from the two primary candidates. Until a third option can compete, a vote for someone other than a D or an R is a wasted vote.

What fricking planet do you live on?Opiates have NEVER been more affordable or accessible.I was diagnosed with shingles about 4 years ago and my Dr gave me a 3 month (renewable)prescription for hydrocodone which was covered by my insurance at grand total of $15 per refill.

This country is flooded with opiates of both the legal and illegal variety.

Don't expect a coherent non-bumper sticker reply.

What he does over and over. And over.. is drag bullet points over here and leave them on the doorstep, like a cat does a dead bird.

In the cat's mind, we're suppose to be impressed by the dead bird, i think.

I'm in Colorado. The state is probably going to go to Hillary regardless of my vote

Have you ever actually met a Hillary supporter there? Or seen a Hillary sign ofr bumper sticker?

I've never met the tooth ferry but it did leave money under my pillow when I was a kid, so it is more real to me than actual Hillary supporters.

You're right about the fanboys on both sides, which is why both parties need an equal split before a third party has a legitimate chance. An Independent who only draws from one side only makes the other side more likely to win.

Trump is a third party candidate though.

Actually, there's only two parties now. The Trump party and then the Establishment party (with its two wings- the democrats and republicans).

But, now the demo-repub establishment party is using third parties like the mongotardarians to take down Trump. How's that for some shite?

I know a few Hillary supporters, but not many. People at work are pretty quiet about politics and the ones that are more vocal were Bernie supporters. I have seen quite a few Shillary bumper stickers, though. The problem with CO is that too many Californians ruined their state and then fled to CO to do the same thing here.

You're right about Trump being 3rd party as he is the result of the Republicans being sick of the establishment pandering cycle after cycle only to be the Democrats' whipping boys, settling for scraps at the political table. However, he does have the 'R' next to his name, so he has a lot more backing than he would if he were running as an 'I'. I like Trump's no-f**ks-to-give attitude but I wouldn't vote for him if he weren't a Republican for the reasons I mentioned previously; it'd be a wasted vote.

The War on Drugs works--just ask the cartel bosses and their politician overlords. Violently enforced monopolies keep prices high and maximize profits. It's like alchemy converting blood into gold.

And the hoardes of people earning a good living in the business of locking people up for non-violent "crimes"....lawyers, judges, bail bondsmen, contractors building and maintaining jails, contractors selling jails shite like fruit cocktail and itchy assed blankets.....it is a growth industry.

ANd then you have the post prison industries....like low rent housing, walmart, maacdoanlds...and employers who need a permanent underclass of labor to exploit.

Gary Johnson was the Governor of the land of enchantment....there are a heaping pile of folks in prison in New Mexico who he could have simply told his underlings to not prosecute or to not prosecute fully...he didn't do it because, like all politicians, he listens to the squeaky wheels and the squeaky wheels of the prison industry are very loud.....

There are very few things that adults out not be able to buy and sale - kiddy porn, protection (mafia style protection...not security) and murder for hire...cocaine, whores, moonshine, meth, gambling....all ought to be perfectly legal....

Not possible. It has to take place in a presidential election year to obtain increased funding and an invite to the debates. The only way to get a viable 3rd option is to vote 3rd party for multiple elections. Its not the type of change that occurs overnight.

So, I was flipping through the Sunday morning Trump Hate session yesterday, and one group of propagandists on one channel were swooning over Gary Johnson because he is guaranteeing that Mitt Romney would be a part of his administration....

LIbertarian 3rd party alternative warrior.....Mitt Romney??? Ba!

You just can't make this shite up.

Unlikely. No human has ever swooned over Mitt Romney. Jefferson, is it possible that you were tuned to some alien station run by defective humanoids?

The facts are what they are my friend...you can get an idea of what a steal looks like by sticking your head up a steers arse but it is just as good to wait until the thing is lying on display at a butchers shop....

and, just for background I have owned a "ranch" (what passes for a ranch in New Mexico.....a little under 900 acres of wasteland with almost no water and practically no soil that can be built on....but is teeming with quail, dove, muley's and antelope) in SE New Mexico since 1990.....so I am not fully versed on Johnson but I do have more than a passing interest on happenings in New Mexico.....

Pathetic gimps, on the other hand, follow people into football threads trying to smear "alex jones" on to them because they are brain impotent and got their mongo feelings frustrated and hurt three threads back. They also must be unable to think for themselves.....which would explain why they assume everyone else must get their opinions from "news".

Surely you aren't claiming you have the ability to do anything you are describing in that first point. After all, Your go to point is "you are a mongo gimp" as seen in your second point once again, and You can't even articulate where you get your news from. Heck, You haven't Even said Alex jones isn't One of your go to sources.
