They are nice but they don't compare to some of the Gwinnett schools.

Cool, didn't know how far you had to travel for work.

Bremen

My coworker in Douglasville says it takes about an hour to get to work. Bremen is a half-hour further than that.

Not gonna do it.

the Gwinnett schools just have more money cause more people...more people doesn't always equate to what I look for in a good area to live...I kind of prefer less people...which is why I like it down south

I would actually say that Carroll Schools aren't that bad either

That's what my Douglasville buddy said, then I showed him the stats.

The schools out that way aren't very good.

you work in BH?

I live and work here. I can probably tell you more specifics about BH in general if you'd like. I think you still have my email?

see above...more $$$ in Gwinnett to pay higher wages and have better resources...but just remember that those numbers don't tell the whole story...you know that...where do you work?

We're comparing schools though not where you want to live. If more people and more money meant better schools then APS would be the best district in the state.

Brookhaven.... can't afford anything acceptable that my wife would live in. Believe me, I've looked. All over Decatur, Emory, Tucker, Doraville. I started my search in Brookhaven and started working my way out.

For just what a 2 bed Brookhaven apartment would cost in rent, I can buy a 3500 sq ft nice house in Grayson. And schools in Brookhaven actually aren't very good. Lots of non-English speaking children in those schools. I gotta run, but I can post some stats later if you'd like.

understand....looking at the map...you might be just as well to do Grayson...as you originally suggested....prices probably stupid ridiculous north in Alpharetta...and Buford is stupid crowded....kids play football?...Grayson has Camden County's old coach Jeff Herron right now

I don't look at dollars.

I look at test scores.

If you pick Lawrenceville, a fluent knowledge of Spanish is helpful.

Yep,Cross Keys HS is about 80% hispanic.I would assume most in Brookhaven send their kids to private school.

I live over in Sagamore Hills area near Lakeside HS...still a solid public HS but about half the kids in my neighborhood go to St. Pius
