In what way? Are you moving there? Are you talking about the football team?

Have you spent much time there? I'm from snellville so am fairly familiar with grayson...just like with anywhere else it depends on what you're looking for and what you want out of your community. It absolutely looks different now than 10 years ago but I guess you can say the same for anywhere in Gwinnett pretty much.

As a function of target home price, proximity to work, and "school test scores", Grayson is one of the areas that pop out on the matrix.

Parts of Buford and Braselton too.

Grayson gets you more house / $ though.

It's a good place to live. Some nice areas up that way. Where in Grayson?

target home price,

Braselton is gonna be your best bet there I would guess.

proximity to work

Can't answer that one for you

school test scores

Buford's your best option, but there's really not a bad one. Lot of decent schools in the area (Grayson, Brookwood, Lambert, Mill Creek)

that's a bit extreme. I personally wouldn't choose to live there either but I mean it's not the hell hole you're describing. I guess we can't all live in south georgia lol

20 years ago is long gone.

What is the "good" side of ATL? As opposed to the Grayson side?

Counting out the east, if we're doing that...I sure as hell wouldn't say the west or south side of 285.

North side has marietta, johns creek, roswell, dunwoody, etc. Those are nice.

well...actually anything close to Atlanta is not what it was 20 years ago...but I prefer west........my mom lives in Carrolton...brother in Dallas...Grandmother in Temple...friends in Bremen...its nice out there..growing up...I actually lived in Douglasville for a while...it was different then...20 years ago and all that...D'ville is the ghetto now and I hate even driving through it.

I also like Coweta and Meriwether and Pike...other grandmother is in Senoia

On my matrix, the home prices in a good school district are too great in those cities.

I've looked at that side of town, have family in Dallas, Bremen. The problem is I work on the other side of ATL. The schools are also quite sketchy.

Have you looked in Forsyth County?

Bremen's schools are actually pretty good...they are not part of Carroll County school system...they are city schools...and run quite nice from what I hear

I would actually say that Carroll Schools aren't that bad either. Paulding and Douglas?...they suck

I would have to make the long haul down 400 every morning to Brookhaven, and do it again every afternoon.

Not gonna do it.
