Gulfstream is based out of Savannah. They pay very well and would be interested in someone with a USAF background. If you look into it and are still interested, I could put you in touch with a headhunter.

Hinesville is correct. I work at Gulfstream and they look for vets. Definitely worth checking out.

Gent, You're not wanted here. We're chock full of enough transplants already. Military and otherwise. Thanks.

Maybe I should have been more clear to begin with. When I entered USAF 20+ years ago, I was in Athens but have not been back since 1999 when I left Valdosta. Not sure what is hot there anymore. Not that it matters.

I'm located right off Pelham as well. Real close to Silver Leaf subdivision. My shop is also located on Pelham.

Brick if you do wind up making the move, holler at me or some of the other posters in the area re. the better areas to live in / schools / etc. ( I think you did say you still had kids in school). Good luck.

Thanks...I had make a quick decision by yesterday if I wanted an assignment that dropped on me and I ended up taking it. So I will be looking at a 2016 move to GA instead of this summer. It will give me more time to line things up.

Hinesville...I'm still interested in that headhunter.

Go Dawgs!

Are you trolling? You can't seriously think Atlanta is a better place to live than Charleston.

Well...momma just put the foot down and it is Athens/Oconee Co come hell or high water. The family will not be going with me to the next gig and that is where they want to be. So now I need to work on finding the best paying job within a reasonable drive from somewhere in Oconee Co starting Summer 2016.

Have you experience in coaching a college football team and taking them to multiple national championships?
