All I've seen is 54 squirrels. Well I did bump a little 3 out when I came in. Had a 2.5 yr old 9 on cam yesterday afternoon at 5. Nada yesterday am

Up by the house. Staying local till maybe tmrw eve. The guys at my place down south are seeing some good movement and rut activity. The big 8 that was just shot was doggin a doe.

I have not had a chance yet but my cousin just shot a big doe at our uncle's farm in Thompson, GA. He said that they have been eating lots of acorns and getting fat! I'm about to go get a haircut now then I'm headed to the Saluda river for some fly fishing!

Well, I saw deer on every hunt mostly does besides the young 9 and a forkhorn. Had pics from early this am of a new 10 that just showed up, he's 3.5 but has great potential. Doesn't appear to be to rutted up, he had the forkhorn around him for a while and it didn't seem to bother him. His hocks aren't very black either. This Friday and Saturday should be insane.

Got the day off tomorrow and gonna commit the majority of it to being in the woods. Gonna plan to sit later in the mornING than usual and then go back for a few hours til dark. Gonna be a good day.
