Only seen them 3-4 times this year, was damn near daily last year...WTF?? 6-7 hens every time tho, maybe mast is plentiful this year...

I've got a 50lb bag of cracked corn for em if they show up. been throwin' a little out, but all I'm feeding so far is squirrels & crows...

Spunky, that's a cool arse picture. Went to a public dove field yesterday. Season ends here the 15th, so yesterday was last day of the season for me. There were more hunters than birds. I'll be ready next year. I'm going to go turkey hunting for the first time this season. Can't wait. Doesn't GA have a Spring and Fall turkey season?

Once you get on a good bird, you'll be hooked for life. There's nothing like it.

There's only a spring season in Georgia. Limited fall season in Alabama (certain counties), Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida in the southeast.

Yea, I just visited GADNR. My wife is from B-Ham and I got Bama mixed up with GA. I really would like to get two gobblers for the smoker this year. I had a friend that failed on an early season dove hunt this year BUT I will be more read this next season!

We've had a significant drop in our turkey populations over the last 5/6 yrs. I'm not sure what contributed but it happened. I haven't seen good poult numbers in several years.

I actually have seen pretty good poult #s up here this year. Most I've seen in a while, we've really been putting a hurting on the yotes though.

I'm starting to believe it's coons stealing nests around me. I've got a shite load on my feeder cameras, and you know the coons propensity to take what doesn't belong to the coon.

I know exactly what you mean. I've got a shite ton up here too. About to start setting traps for coyotes so I'm gonna throw some coon traps out around the creeks too. I hate a frickin jive arse coon.
