I'm really hoping we get back in front with Demetris Robertson after this weekend..he just seems like one of those kids that is looking for any reason to not go to his home state university.

We really need to keep him in state. It's going to be a tough battle to beat out Alabama and Stanford though.

2017's 4* WR Jaden Hunter and 4* DB William Poole and 2016's 4* ILB Devin Bush Jr no longer visiting.

However, I have added 2016's 4* DE Xavier Kelly and 3* WR Velus Jones to the list.

5* LB Ben Davis no longer visiting, though he assures he will be taking an OV to UGA during the season (per AJC). Honestly, not too beat up about it as he's a longshot to end up in Athens anyway.

This typically the time of week when guys either realize the time commitment involved in attending or - as has been documented in the past - handlers will begin making cash offers to guys not to visit places (I'll have to find the article where an anonymous booster said he would pay up to $2k to a kid not to make a visit to a school).

Recruiting is crazy.

Rich people problems, man. Some guys buy a boat, some guys buy football players. You'd think it's just a bunch of butthurt tall tales until you see the Running of the Gumps or Picture Day and realize that there are grown arse people so obsessed with this stuff that they'll take off work just to stand in a hotel lobby to see Saban walk buy on the way to a podium for Media Days. If those are the so-called lower or middle class folks, think about what the ones with the same proclivities and twice or three times the cash flow are into.

Very true. I consider myself rabid but then I see some other people and I reauze that I'm pretty tame.

My guess is that stuff happens more with OVs close to NSD. Will Redmond, for example, was paid not to visit Georgia a few years ago. That's part of why MSU got sanctioned.

I very seriously doubt that any Bama booster paid Ben Davis not to visit Georgia in the summer. We're not that much of a threat.

Given that he's made it to campus before, I doubt it too. But it's something to watch with his OVs. He's not going to be one the state of Alabama is going to let get way without a fighting dirty.

I'd give anything to be UGA's version of nevin shapiro or roy adams.

AJC is reporting that Woerner will be at Dawgnight but will not work out.

Also reported is that Eason and father will hang around four days after Dawgnight and get the lay of the land and recruit, if possible.

Having your talented QB recruit for you is good for buisness. Hoping to real in a few big time WR to come and do work with him.

If he's there, keep an eye on OLB Mo Burnham (Salem High School-Conyers, GA). I was able to coach him last year. He's a smart kid with a ton of upside.
