I like to use rhymes.. I remember one time saying, "If their pants are saggin and you see their underwear - beware"

This could work...

"If its wrists are limp, and It dresses like a gimp,
Run without delay, 'cause that fig is gay."

You went to Tech, you should be used to openly gay people. Look at your fraternity, 2 out of 3 would put one in their jaws until it went limp.

FooManChoo and DawgLife will be along shortly to tell us how Sam is a sinning son of a bitch who deserves to burn in hell for eternity.

.....and I'm sure that when Olympic figure-skating coverage is over.....a herd of busy-bodies will show up to wag their fingers at anyone who is naturally repulsed by the thought of turd-burglarism......

Gross.

I am repulsed, as it pertains to the act itself. However, as such an act doesn't include me, I could care less.

I have a fig friend that is one of the FABULOUS ones. He (it?) has told me many times that HE HIMSELF is repulsed by the thought of vaginal intercourse. We remain friends because we respect each others proclivity to be repulsed by the thought of what the other enjoys sexually.

fricking shameful how that works, yes?

How do I explain this to my kids without sounding like a dipsht?

Why would you feel the need to explain to your kids? I'm pretty sure my 29 year old son and 25 year old daughter have no idea who Michael Sam is. Why would you think your kids would even know about the issue?

I could care less what someone else does in their own bedroom either..........And perverts are nothing new.

Hell....Where would male ice dancing and miZzzouri football be without 'em

But, it drives me fricking nuts to sit here and witness the "human rights" that some people will get worked up over.........and which ones they will ignore........

And how many of you that are "disgusted" by "turd-burglary" have asked your girlfriends/wives whether a bit of anal sex could be on the menu? How many of you have watched anal porn?

Got no problem with him being gay, he can't help it. I grew up with a few and knew early on they were gay, but don't try to pass it off as normal...cause it ain't.

Can you name 1 or 2 examples?

Obviously I'm not one of them, because I know about Building 7 and the poor ignorant people in the middle east who are subjected to our spreading of democracy, I know and have posted about the fishiness around Jack Ruby's death bed confession, so obviously you are talking about someone else.

Call them out.

Don't beat around the bush.

Don't call out anonymous people, that defeats the purpose of calling someone out.

You're trying to tie and narrow a conversation I was having with someone else.....to this board.

That doesn't make any sense.

But, since you brought it up, well...........YES. I think it's odd that there are now, not one, but two.... multi-page threads on a Georgia sports board about gay people...that are conjuring up passionate and emotional responses. When, last I checked............gay people have it just about as good as they've ever had it on any continent anywhere in the entire course of RECORDED HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beyond that. I also thinks it's odd that threads like those get an emotional response, here, or anywhere there is debate............BUT topics such as the immorality of a society that borrows and borrows in order to maintain a certain lifestyle, meanwhile enslaving their children and grand-children in Debt.............gets exactly ZERO attention or sympathy............

OR when torture, and mass-murder to the tune of hundreds of thousands is ignored. THe list is long. I could go on. But, as I have said.....nobody cares about that. Y'all are all concerned that somebody who by definition has a controversial lifestyle isn't somehow or in someway offended. GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Priorities. Twilight ZOne.

I'm with you, Jefferson. There are far worse things happening all over the world (and in our own country) than some athletes letting everyone know they like anal sex with other dudes (as perverted and disgusting as I think that is, it's pretty trivial).

In time, that won't be "news" any more, and everyone will be looking for the next trivial jaw-dropper, while the real issues go on ignored.

Jeff, I like your response.

Foo, why do you feel like it's ok to piggy back on jeff's post?

Do you think Jeff is going to endorse your ignorant opinion?

Not at all. I don't expect anyone to have my back when it comes to these sorts of things. I just happen to agree with Jeff about how these stories are all over the news while real problems in the world are often ignored.

Apparently I've made some sort of list of yours where now you care about what I say and have to bust my balls about it. I guess I should feel honored.

Jeff you getting worked up shawty.

Quite a lot of irony in your post. Had Mitt got up and said I stand for the gay man and gay woman, he would have won the election. If the masses are so caught up in "emotional" issues like you say, then the party of "freedom" should learn to embrace their gay brothers and sisters. While they're at it, they could embrace weed too.

Same old crap same sad story!!! All I hear is we should praise a dude for acting on sinful tendencies while people who don't agree with it get smashed because they have an opinion. Feel bad for where this country is going, especially when people call you ignorant and dumb because you disagree with them. So much double standards these days I remember when Chris Broussard never saw T.V. for a while when he said his opinion on that dude in the NBA.

This seeking tolerance crap gets annoying because they are not seeking tolerance. Almost every opinion on this board that speaks out against homosexuality is viewed by the "homosexual movement" as being intolerant of Michael Sams. This despite the fact that the movement itself is unquestionably intolerant of other's views. The homosexual movement, pop culture in general and many gay people who speak out publicly aren't trying to get people to stop persecuting or discriminating against gays -- they want everyone to openly acknowledge that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Unfortunately, there is. Adultery is a sin too, but if you asked whether sleeping with someone other than your spouse is wrong, everyone would say "yes, it is wrong". But if you say homosexuality is wrong, then you are a bigot. As a Christian, I hope Michael Sams ask for The Lord to forgive him for his sin at some point during his life -- however, one must realize they're sinning before they can seek forgiveness for it. I will not forsake him by telling him what he is doing is not a sin. With all that being said, I wish him the best in his life and in football.
that pretty much sums it up for me
