Jesus, I don't want to think about the fact that this team could have/should be looking at a 10-11 win season

Perhaps, if pussies like you can't handle any sort of criticism about our team. Man up.

That is depressing considering we lost two games we absolutely should have won.

Or some of us just temper our expectations and don't allow ourselves to be emotionally invested in a football team.

No, you just can't handle anything unless it's praise. Last time I checked, I was far from the only one complaining. I'm happy we won, of course, if that's what you're worried about.

If you're not the least bit emotionally invested in UGA football, then what the hell are you even doing here and why are you even a UGA fan? You're telling me college football fans shouldn't be emotionally invested in their team? I don't get emotionally invested in the Falcons because I couldn't give a damn what they do. I hope they win, but I couldn't care enough to get worked up about it, but of course I'm emotionally invested in UGA football. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't and neither would anyone else.

shite guys. If richt were here, this would be business as normal. What's happened is we all want better and right now we are not where we want to be. For sure. We'll beat tech and finish the regular season 8 -4 and go to a middle tier bowl which per richt's opinion is a pretty good year.

But is's not, at least not in my book. That is why Smart is here.

But can we be mature and knowledgeable enough to give the guy more than a partial season? What the hell!!

Chill out, get your favorite intoxicate and get your female friend to give you a hummer and you'll feel better about life in general.

While I'm disappointed that we didn't wind up with a blowout win against ULL, it was an improvement to not be at risk of losing against a team of their caliber.

I've seen gradual improvement in different aspects of this team this year and that's really what I was hoping to see. Receivers are starting to catch the ball. Eason isn't making as many bad decisions as I thought he would. Running game has improved. Defense completely shut down Auburn. DBs are swarming to the ball and making picks. We finally have someone who can kick FGs and touch backs and our kick coverage has gotten better.

Still a lot of room to get better but the team has played better overall lately.

The thing that bothered me about this game was their offense is a simplified version of what Tech does. They used a running QB and misdirection to get the edge and were pretty successful. If they didn't get greedy on long passes, the game may well have been closer.

Eh I think that's a little unfair a comparison. Their line was big and actually, you know, blocked and blocked reasonably well without resorting to cutting. Plus, they posed more of a passing threat than tech can/will and we held it in check most of the day.

As always, the key to beating tech is to get ahead by 2 or 3 scores early. If we go into the 4th against tech up 35-7 then I'm going to be pretty fricking happy

Very concerning, and tech's passing game is working this year, which wasn't the case last year. We are gonna have to score more than 13 to beat them this year.

I agree.... I was more looking at misdirection to get the edge. They did that pretty well.
