Drew, where is your proof Chubb will be ready by start of summer practice? Or did you back track on that, and now Chubb will be ready for the 1st game?
So where are these recent links stating a more accurate time table for Chubb's return? I haven't seen anything recently to make one feel confident on him returning for summer practices or even the 1st game.
Also Chubb's injury was worse than Gurley's. Did you see how Gurley was able to walk to the locker room after the injury? Chubb looked like Keith Marshall on the sideline, which was very painful to watch.
I think in your case Drew, it would be better for you to say that you really believe Chubb will be back for summer practices instead of saying it matter of factly. When you make absolute statements you are just setting yourself up for failure.

Wat?? When did I ever backtrack?? djsdumbass just brought back this very old thread because he got his little feelings hurt on the rant.

I'm not a sportswriter, I can't give you links that don't exist. Nowhere did I say they would come out with a time table and let everyone know.

Like I said to some of the other posters, is you think the way in which someone walks off is the main factor, you have a lot to learn about injuries.

I have said from the beginning that this is what I was told by an assistant trainer on the team. So yes this is what I'm sticking with. If I'm wrong oh well, who cares?? But when I'm right I'm gonna hold it over y'all's head so bad.

Believe it or not, This is the "proof" he provided:
quote:
"with summer camp perhaps the first realistic target for a full return."
Apparently anyone who thinks these words mean that chubb "MIGHT BE back" and don't mean that chubb "WILL BE back" is an idiot.

You did it in the thread that you're referring to (unless there's been another more recent one). You specifically changed your stance to "he'll be back by game 1 unless there is a setback/re-injury"... this is categorically different than "he will be back by game 1". As many people in this thread and elsewhere have tried to explain to you... had you simply couched this as an opinion of yours based on things you've heard from a trainer, you would have had little to no objections. The issue is when you attempt to say that it is a fact and that it is substantiated by articles which don't actually say what you are purporting that they do. Similarly when you, a non-medical professional with frick all in the way of evidence attempt to say that Gurley's injury was *definitely* worse than Chubb's... pardon everyone's skepticism around this as you've given them no reason to believe you as a credible individual simply based on point #1 above. It's all opinion and conjecture. You may strongly believe that you are correct, but that doesn't mean that anyone else will or should agree with you. You've gotten bent out of shape when questioned, yet haven't provided any supporting evidence or medical opinions that back you...
The worst part is you don't seem to understand any of the above, so it's literally like typing to a brick wall. I feel bad, because you claim to have a UGA education... these are not difficult concepts... so it seems that your hard spent tuition dollars may have failed you.

Oh geez, are you people really this dense?? Someone brought up the fact that there could be a re-injury, and I said of course, if there is a re-injury that would change things. NO ONE can predict that, not me, Chubb, or Ron Courson. I have said from the beginning, and will continue to say it that Chubb will be back, this obviously assumed there would not be a re-injury. How can ya'll not grasp that??
I have stated why I said Gurley's injury is worse. You have stated why you think Chubb's injury is worse. Both points are coming from non-medical sides, and both points have valid arguments behind them. Agree to disagree here.
Bent out of shape?? Please show me where. Also if you think I actually take any of this seriously on here.
Again, I have explained it very well to y'all, most of y'all lack basic reading skills. I actually did go to UGA(unlike most of y'all) and I got HOPE, so no money from me. Immediately landing a job after graduation would infer than nothing was wasted.

Does it seem odd to you that the only posts that I seem to edit are intended for you? There is a reason for that. Just yesterday, I explained why in a response to you, but I should have expected that to go over your head as you demonstrated in this post. Yea, yea, we know, everyone else but you is "dense".
