Eason in 17 and Holyfield in 18 even if some chump bites his ear off.

Hit the Dynasty Button, but some stupid 80s tv show came on...

What the hayell, Uga is out of the bone head Era and into the Smart one...

I don't know I hope you're right but...when is the last time a UGA RB, or any RB for that matter, came back from a knee injury that bad to have that good of a season.

Besides the hype machine already has their next candidate in Flournette and the force is strong with them. Especially when they already hyped him up coming into college. They'll look for every reason to prove themselves right.

I'd wager on Watson, first.

Truth!

That kid played his heart out and kept Clemson in that game. No doubt he'll be the pre-season favorite no matter their schedule.

Richt recruited Chubb, Eason and Holyfield, so there's that.

I doubt Chubb wins the Heisman. Watson will be the leader next year and then Chubb will be gone. I don't think Holyfield is Heisman material....and I guess Eason could have a shot, but he has a long, long ways to go. I don't think I would be handing out awards just yet.

This. After his performance in the NC Game he will be the early favorite, and it is much easier for a QB to win than a RB.

I agree, it will be Watson's to lose if he plays like he did this year.

I will say Chubb COULD have a chance if Watson, Fournette and McCaffery start out slow. If Chubb can start his year like he did last year he will have the added bonus of his first game being a big one against UNC. Combined with really good play, I could see them running with a story about how he came back from a devastating injury to win the Heisman.

I wouldn't put it past him. He's a hard worker and the last report was that he is ahead of schedule on his recovery

"I teach Nick's cousin. Sat with his family this morning at our schools basketball game. Was told Nick is progressing ahead of schedule and will be back for the first game. Family is humble much like Nick. Just passing along some good news."

Why?? Literally every single report from trainers and his Dr say he will be playing in the first game.

Not directed at me and I am not Sneaky Waffles....but, the injury he had was pretty bad. It would normally take a LONG recovery time and many feel like UGA should at least hold him out for a game or two....or three.

That said, Chubb is a unique athlete. Much like Adrian Peterson from the standpoint that he works hard and COULD cut the recovery time. As you said...trainers, doctors etc are saying he is already ahead of schedule. Basically he should NOT be ready, but he is unique and COULD be ready.

Hopefully we will all be happy and he will be ready for the first game.

Can you actually link somebody like Courson or somebody else at UGA saying that Chubb will without a doubt be ready for the first game? Difference between that and him being "ahead of schedule".
