Hopefully this gets his confidence up but aren't we putting the cart in front of the horse a little?

I'm on the Eason love fest as much as anybody tonight. But he's not Murray.

He may be one day, but not yet. Murray had about 3 of those go-ahead drives Eason had in one year.

NEVER was a Murray fan, but this is preposterous at this point.

Let´s say he looks like a more poised Stafford, K?

Murray is still a DGD and one of my all-time favs. Eason may turn out to be "better" but Murray was nothing to scoff at. He didn't have the luxury of playing on a complete team that showed up to play every game.

When Eason throws a mf'ing spiral on a deep ball I'll jump on the train.

Exactly. To downplay what he did at UGA is stupid.

Murray was a DGD no doubt. Eason just has more physical ability to stand in the pocket and deliver the football. It's obvious 3 games into the season.

Or maybe 55% like a Shockley or 60% like a Greene... But whatever... Murray fricking lost... We now have Eason

Hey man, whatever. Say what you'd like but championships don't always make a QB great and lack of championships don't necessarily mean a QB isn't great. The record books say that Murray is statistically one of the greatest Dawgs of all time. He was 5 yards from a SEC (and possible MNC) championship in 2012.

Eason may get the records and the championships. We'll see, but Murray will always be one of the best to wear the red.

there is pretty much no chance that eason is gonna break murray's records. that much we know. hopefully, he gets the championships. he will have 2 solid years where it's possible plus a freebie year this year where pretty much anything that happens is cake
