Yeah. Top 5 for sure. But not the best.

there is pretty much no chance that eason is gonna break murray's records. that much we know.

One is not like the other. One will be taking "actual" snaps on Sunday's while the other will probably be joining the radio broadcast...

he will have 2 solid years where it's possible plus a freebie year this year where pretty much anything that happens is cake

Then where is the debate? Really?

If every player we had, had Murrays heart, we'd have some rings and ships. Kinda hard to compare Eason's 3 games to Murrays career. You can focus on the losses, but he had some big wins against good teams. If I remember correctly he had wins over Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Clemson....

so Buck was our greatest ever then?

come on , you just sound ridiculous. have you just forgotten how prolific our offense was with Murray, yet our D couldn't stop anyone.

It is way too early for this jack off thread. Eason had a great game, but frick me claiming he is better than Murray already is premature and fricking dumb.

Replace Murray with generic "average UGA QB" and we easily lose eight more games than we actually did from 2010-2013.

Eason may end up being better than Murray but to use a great moment as a chance to disparage Murray shows a lot about you.

Not yet, we will see. No doubt Eason has more potential but he has a long way to go to exceed Murray in our history books.

Huge difference in a rsdshirt freshman and true freshman. Cant compare.

Also AM would have done a lot more if he had any defense at all. Points on the board was not an issue.

Considering our returning qbs are a back up punter and acc reject i find it hard to be critical of Mason much less Murray.

You're only remembering the positives. Murray was a choke artist for two and a half years. He was a statistically great QB that led the team well. He also imploded in every big game his first couple years. The last half of his junior season is when he finally stopped caving in big games.
