A coconut liqueur maybe. But, not a beer. Unless there's something tropical in it. And then it's not really a beer anymore.

deeprig9, Are there any other home-brewers on the GSB besides yourself? Any that might want to step into the arena with FallBatch24348?.........

Many hops have a tropical aroma, citrusy.

I think Rules brews, but like most engineers, he's probably only good at his tech job and absolutely nothing else. At all. WOuldn't be a fair fight.

Maybe....

We could get a bottle of shite Monster Pale Ale from Creature Comforts and take the label off of it..........and provide samples of yours and the shite Monsters at somebodies tailgate for a blind taste test and have them vote which one is better. Most votes is champion.

Even if I brewed tomorrow, it wouldn't be retail-ready for 10 weeks, at the absolute soonest.

Also, I wouldn't want to go head to head with Tropicalia. They have temp control on fermentation, which affects flavor, and I don't. I am at the whim of how warm God wants my laundry room to be.

We'll begin Brew Off 2015 on a set agreed upon date, and entrants will update the thread over the 10 week process, before voting begins on Super Bowl Sunday in February..........

Saw a documentary called Crafting a Nation (Trailer) that had the guys from TX that had success in changing their laws. Interesting movie. Free to Amazon Prime members.

Haven't brewed in a year...I'm down, if this is real.
10 weeks, rig? 6 should be ample.

Like anything else, it's as real as you want to make it.

6 weeks would be ample time in a bottle for many styles, but you have to back into primary and secondary fermentation.

To put my best foot foward, I need 10 weeks, minimum.

If we are doing hefeweizen, then 6 weeks would be fine.
