You seem unusually preoccupied with things you claim not to care for

Paddle Hike Partake

The Recreation Ale is a lower alcohol IPA style that is more commonly referred to as an "APA" by McSnoot's like myself.

The schtick is you can pack out your 12-pack of aluminum cans easier than packing out bottles, which most "good" beer has traditionally been sold in. The second part of the schtick it that it's lower ABV so you can drink some while doing recreational things and keep a buzz going without getting hammered.

The best beer from Georgia I've had is probably from that Jekyll brewery in Atlanta.

Hop Dang Diggity. They are from Alpharetta, by the way.

That said, the douchebaggery in here is high (or some people have a seriously fricked up palate).

Tropicália is nectar of the gods.

That's just stupid - like drinking a bunch of beer goes hand in hand with back country activities or exercise.

It should say:

Sit Fight Smoke frick

They share an office park with one of my offices. They are dumb because they don't open to "tastings" or "tours" until 5pm. Ain't nobody left in that office park by 5pm.

They need to open at 2pm.

INteresting.

This marketing team at Terrapin is making the fellas over at the shite MOnster look like amateurs.

deeprig9, When is "Fall Batch 24348" going to be ready? And can I be allowed to design a marketing-campaign/schtick for it?

Actually, it does for a lot of people. Anytime I fish, canoe or camp I've got a cooler. Alcohol enhances the experience- you should try it.

I'm glad you asked. I was thinking about this today.

I'll keep you in the loop. Brewing has slowed down alot, to a screeching halt really. The day I make it, will probably spontaneous, on a whim. On that day, I'll tell you what I did and what I'm going for, and you'll have a couple of weeks to work on marketing before it's ready.

Fishing or camping I get...but try biking or hiking all day drinking beer and they'll be sending Search & Rescue to pull your arse out of the gorge.

You need to expand upon the Terrapin path by making your beer the even manlier more outdoorsman'er beer for guys who hike up taller mountains with the wooliest socks wearing the best shite that Columbia and Land's End has to offer with the morning sun reflecting of their Costas.

Cool. And "Fall Batch 24348" is just the working title for the project. The actual name will tie in with the final concept, of course..

When I open a bud light, i have yet to see a DJ fall out of the sky with a swimming pool full of hot girls.

I think yall are being a little hard on terrapin's marketing.

Good idea. This could even spawn a new Columbia sportswear clothing line...

PBG - Performance Beer-Drinking Gear

The shirts will still have that weird cape thing on the back like the fishing shirts, but the velcro tab on the front of the shirt that nobody knows what it's for......can be enlarged to hold a can of beer on your chest. At the ready.

bud light appeals to the lowest common denominator. That swill is absolute garbage and I try my best to avoid drinking it whenever possible.

As for me, I'll stick with my miller lites thank you very much.

Hey...I think its a great campaign. How marketing works has always been interesting to me.

Costas are great sunglasses but people don't pay $300 dollars for them because they're worth $300. They pay $300 because the want to be seen as the kind of guy that wears Costas.

I talked to a Micholob guy who said as soon as the "low carb" thing hit Ultra became the fitness beer...the chicks jumped all over it and the sales went through the roof.

So, for 2015/2016 JD needs to figure out what "it" is and make your beer the choice for people trying to fit that mold.

I'm thinking gender neutral or hispanic immigrant....

Add two more pockets to the front, and you can carry a 6-pack, hands-free, on your shirt.. Line the pockets with coozie material to retain coldness. PBG.

For my whole life I was the guy who wore whatever sunglasses I could steal from Eckerd's, until someone bought me costa's as a gift. Greatest sunglasses I've ever worn.
