But where does this leave us with Swift?! That is one guy I don't want to lose. Hopefully Smart and/or McGee has been in contact with Swift about this.

can you provide cliffs for the post you are referring to? is that just Rusty's musings or does he have something concrete that has been said?

It's in the unexpected good news thread.
Nothing final, just Rusty's sources inside UGA's football staff

interesting. I still think Chubb should go. If he leaves now, he might get a lower draft position than he would like, but at least he would be healthy going into the league.
I would hate to see him come back and then re-injure his knee or blow out the other leg and then turn into a Marcus Lattimore type situation.

some college players recieve insurance policies in case they are injured playing and cannot play in the nfl. school pays for it with agreement to be paid back from the policy or nfl salary. AM had one when he opted to play his last year. i dont think these policies are very prevelent but am being told all the superstars have them.
His post was about going pro and then getting injured and collecting the insurance.
I know a few pro players will take out policies on themselves. But these athletes make more money on endorsements than they do playing sports (and the endorsements require that they play).
The average NFL player does not have a policy covering them self from injury.

I'd have to see it happen to actually believe it. I'm not doubting what you read/heard, I just think that after the bowl game when these guys have some time to think about their decisions that at least 2 of them will take off.

so much crow on the menu tonight for a good majority of this board

Didn't see this coming at all. Expected Carter and/or Bellamy would possibly stay, but our entire backfield coming back is pretty great.
I'm not sure if we'll have a player taken in the draft now, which I am okay with as it's a product of the players returning.

I asked this question in the recruiting board, do we lose Swift and Toneil now?

Oh man, I really sorta wish Chubb and Michel would go. They have nothing to gain by staying another year...

Yet some are still saying that Chubb, etc. should enter the draft. We must be inundated with agents on this board. We lucky.

I am shocked and pleasantly surprised by this
