He deserves it, IMO. After all the injuries we had this year, we could have easily had one of the worst offenses in the country, or at least dropped off significantly from last year, but we could wind up with even better numbers than last year (after the bowl game, and with playing one less game).

Same here. We'd done it, albeit with more time on the clock, a couple times already this season.
