"Elite" is a tough word to use for most people. What separates a really good OC from an elite OC? I'm not even sure.
Without using the word "elite", I think CMB has done everything expected of him to get his squad to put points on the board this year, and he has had injuries to his star players to overcome.
If anyone had an excuse for poor play this season, it was Bobo, but his unit did its job game-in and game-out to give us every chance to win each game.
Whether he is a good OC, great OC, or elite OC, I don't know. What I do know is that he earned his paycheck and then some this year.

Like a normal college kid. Getting sloppy drunk most nights. Nothing out of the ordinary but some people I know have a hard time realizing he's grown up now.

lol I saw that too. Wasn't sure if that was supposed to be yards instead of points, or if the number was off.

A little anecdote I love is, if you watch footage of the 93 UGA/tech brawl, when things really start to escalate and shite is hitting the fan, you can see a skinny little freshman run away from the field. If you keep watching though, you'll notice he grabs his helmet off the bench then runs BACK onto the field to join the fracas. That was Bobo.

I spent 5 1/2 years in Athens in the mid-late 70's. Football players were dicks then too. BMOC will inflate anyone's ego...You grow up & outta it(most do anyway

Was just about to post this. Good lord, how can a defense be that bad? How does anyone lose a game scoring like that?

The goal-line series against Clemson? FAIL. The play action in the endzone against Flarduh? FAIL. Laying eggs in the first half against Auburn and Tech? FAIL.
Like I said, he's above average. Elite, he is not.
