If Bloomgren was just looking for a raise, couldn't his agent just leak it?
And really...if Bloomgren is worth the money wouldn't Stanford have ponied up more by now?
I don't really think it matters in the long run. The offense won't change much while Richt is the head coach and I'm good with that. I like watching Georgia play offense.

Honestly, I think the fact that Gentry keeps mentioning Kitchens from the Cardinals leads me to think he might end up being the guy. He did the same thing with Pruitt during the DC search and he was the only one saying anything about Pruitt.

And as for Bloomgren looking for a raise...idk if this matters but with Stanford being private or whatever we don't know his salary and all so he may be fishing for it but I am not sure if it plays in as much, at least with fan pressure or whatever, because it's not public. Idk, I just wanna sound smart.

I wasn't saying he was looking for more $$ but if your name gets rumored around for jobs then most ADs would go and offer more $$ to squash that notion. A la with what we basically did with Pruitt, his name was all over LSU and TA&Ms D openings but we handed him more $$ to make sure he has no reason to leave. I feel like that's what happened with us a few years ago. Some guys think of $$ and that the grass is greener on the other side. Just my opinion as I have no evidence of this except what gets put out there.

Kitchens is a former QB from Bama (roomed with Pruitt), who has coached about 15 years at both the college and pro levels. No OC experience, as stated above, though.

Maybe. He's been the QB coach for Arizona for two years and that's his only experience as a QB coach. The QB play at Arizona hasn't been very good besides Carson Palmer playing well a couple games this season but that may not be a reflection on him as a coach. It could just be a reflection of garbage quarterbacks.

I don't think Kitchens will leave the NFL for anything less than an OC job because we likely can't match his salary as a position coach.

Aren't the next line of qb's Park, Ramsey, Eason big throwing qb's? Not trying to argue what scheme we should/will/do run but having an OC that can call it effectively would be nice.

It would be if the prospects we were looking at were 5 stars. It appears we are looking at 3 stars and praying for upside that neither has shown.

yeeeahhhh....my handle on Rivals has been "ladyluck2" for 10+ years, where plenty of people have known me as such and can vouch I am a woman. Don't have a clue who Peter Buck is...nor if he frequents the Rivals board.
