FWIW...Rusty said his sources have confirmed that Bloomgren hasn't been in Athens or interviewed for the UGA OC job...

He also said that he believes there have been other interviews but they have not been made public because not everyone wants that info to get out. I really hope it isn't Roper, such a "meh" hire.

Imo, the second part of that calls the first part into question. It's been almost two weeks since Bobo left. They've definitely interviewed more than two people.

I'd say they learned their lesson from a few years back when they were searching for a D Coordinator and names were getting leaked causing those guys to get G'd up by their schools. That in turn left them with Grantham. They kept the Pruitt hire pretty well under wraps until it was all but done and I expect the same here. Last thing they want is for USC to re-up Bloomgren for more $$. If indeed he is who they want.
