I understood Weinke wouldn't be the OL coach. Perhaps I'm wrong but I think we need a legit OL coach more than a QB coach. We haven't exactly flourished on the OL minus about 3 of the last 25 seasons.

You do realize that the OL coach who would come in (assuming Weinke is the QB coach) would likely be Bloomgren from Stanford, who continually puts forth a great OL.

Three primary candidates per AJC. Bloomgren, Roper, and Lilly. Pretty clear who the top candidate would be imo.
I wouldn't normally link AJC, but Towers is often the admin's mouthpiece, so it's relevant in coaching searches.
