Thanks for the brilliant analysis.
Here is the rest of my analysis you so easily dismissed:
Second they also lost by 34 to LSU, Got beat by the Citadel, lost to Kentucky, and lost to a bad Missouri team.

Now I'm thoroughly convinced....do you not understand that I was comparing SC to Vandy in 2015? Not even making a pro or con argument about which side of the ball is ahead of the other.

Wow,not sure what I'd do without you to correct me about who and when we played our opponents LAST YEAR. Dude, you are honestly going into Monteg territory with some of your posts. If I didn't know any better...
Well. We do keep saying that the advantage disappears in the second or third game, and you point out that we scored 52 against our third opponenet, so it seemed obvious that you didn't know that or was trying to bend the conversation your way.
I have asked this question and either you are not seeing it or you are ignoring it.
Have you ever played football at the high school or higher level?
I think even Monteg could answer that question honestly. If you don't want to answer it that's ok. I understand.

Backup kickoff safety in 8th grade
Yes and played 1 year of 1AA (FCS) and agree,in general, about defenses being better earlier in the season.

Ahhhhhhh! Ok. Thanks for your honesty. And, as I said....it doesn't always hold true. Sometimes an offensive team just jumps on another team and runs away with it. It is an "in general" statement that defense jells faster than offense....but I also agree with your and Cobb Dawgs, assessment. I really don't think in this particular instance it will be a huge factor. It usually affects passing teams much more (UNC). However Elijah Hood could present some problems for us.
I apologize if I came off as condescending....it was not mean that way, but its hard to express on a message board.

Off topic but has Tae Crowder been getting any reps?

I'm not sure but you bring up a good point. The rushing game in a thread about UNC.
In the Baylor game they allowed 645 yards rushing on 84 carries and gave up an avg. 7.7 yards per carry, which ironically is probably very close to Mr. Chubb's avg yards/carry.
I don't care if it does take longer for an offense to jell. It's not hard to hand a FB to a RB.
We're gonna run the damn football all over their a$$. Their offense will be chilling on the sideline. Book it!

So SC wasn't a "real opponent"?
They were real. Who said they weren't?
