Surprised? I'm pumped. I really hope UGA steam rolls these losers into oblivion. How awesome would a Clemsen esque type arse kissing with a knee on the 5 from pinning 50? Whooooooo! I'm fricking ready!

Elijah Hood is no joke at RB for UNC, if we are able to contain they're running attack I think we will be in good shape. I do think this game will be tight with UGA pulling away in the 4th, got to win the TO battle.

Like who?The closer we get to kickoff the more I'm seeing
picks like this 40-20 Dawgs

Saw another site that had us winning 43-17.

Vegas has us at anywhere from 2 to 5 pt favorites.

I admit I'm worried. We have a lot of questions and brand new head coach. The only unit I feel good about is the Oline because I know CSP will have them playing better. I'm also feeling better about the Real Deal taking the load off of Chubb - but he'll he's a freshman.

I've got Richt still on my back and it'll take a while to shake the feeling of impending doom....

I think the offenses are decently well matched (since we'll probably still have some health concerns at RB and QB situation is unclear), but UNC's defense (especially the run D) is hot garbage. Wouldn't be surprised by a 2-3 TD win for us.

Actually, looking at the size of the wrap on Sony's arm, I wouldn't be surprised if he was playing week 1. They're letting him do a lot in practice at least.

So we have A freshman, Chubb 2 months early on his ACL recovery and Sony with a broken arm.

Oh...and the white guy.

We should nickname the Chubb Michel combo "ICU".....

"MASH" would be good too but the younger pups won't get it.

UNC is no slouch but Dawgs will wear them down after the half and run away with it. We have superior athletes and are better coached. Dawgs -37, UNC -21

No way UGA beats UNC by 3 scores and holds them under 24. Their offense is much better than your giving credit and we're not as good as you are crediting. Too many unknowns. 38-35 or a 31-28 which will ultimately become a pick em'

Ok... I'll take UNC in 20-26. Sorry... that's absolutely idiotic to say the least...

I agree... I worry about a potential shoot-out type game with them. I do feel we are more talented, but you could also make an argument for UNC being just as talented if not more talented on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, they should be improved, but depth/talent will prevent them late in the game IMO.

Still haven't seen "A lot of folks picking UNC"

Who exactly is picking them?Sportwriters?Bloggers?Bookies?

They still have to replace their QB and they lost one of their best O-lineman for the year.

If Chubb's as healthy as everyone thinks we should win by a TD.

Here ya go

[link=(Georgia vs. North Carolina

4:30 PM ESPN Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA

When last we saw North Carolina, it was getting steamrolled over by Baylor's running game in an epic collapse. That was last season. This season, it’ll start out by getting stuffed cold by a frenetic Georgia defense that’ll do everything right in Kirby Smart’s debut. The spotlight will be on freshman quarterback Jacob Eason, but it’ll be the Dawg running game that carries the load on the way to an ugly blowout.

Line: Georgia -3.5
June Prediction: Georgia 40, North Carolina 13 )]UGA 40 -13[/link]

Was that the same one that has us beating UL-L by 3?

This is a point many are overlooking. Gene Chizik is a very good defensive coach. he went to UNC last season and their avg yds per game went down 100 yards. I expect more improvement this year. Their offense is good, too.

It will be much tighter than many people are thinking, IMO. Their defense will surprise some on this board, and their offense will be difficult to stop. We will be in a dogfight.

I haven't seen many people picking UNC. I think our depth will wear them down at the end. I see it being similar to the Clemson game in 14. Being tight for the first half and us pulling away further in the late 3rd and 4th quarter. I'm predicting 38-24 UGA.

They gave up 650 yards rushing in a single game. No competent defense does that.
