He knows I am being sarcastic. He is just upset because I called him out on another thread for having INSIDE information that our Ad and admin are screwing this up.

Probably the same INSIDE information that prompted him to post this three days ago:

quote:

Gurley will be back, expect an announcement today or tomorrow

But he's a flea I have flicked at this point. I am a Dawg fan and get bored easily with creative negativity.

Go Dawgs!!

Not that there's any doubt but Felton just confirmed to Emerson that Gurley isn't making the trip.

Sort of OT, but I don't want to see the NCAA or UGA use Gurley's likeness for profit again. If he can't profit off it, neither can they.

Take the jerseys off the shelves, take him out of commercials, stop selling images of him, etc.

From now on, if they want to suspend him, they shouldn't get to exploit him.

Assuming he plays again, UGA is gonna make a killing on his likeness in the form of jerseys, photos, etc when he does.

UGA will be selling Gurley stuff long after he leaves and he won't see a penny of it.

And he will be on countless commercials for games (even if he's not playing in them) and you'll see the little NCAA logo on there somewhere too.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if schools and the NCAA try to maximize profit on items etc with players likeness in the time leading up to the O'Bannon stuff taking effect. Squeeze every last drop out while they can.

Thats all good and dandy until the NCAA decides to forfeit wins...

Yea and if we are concerned about depth at certain positions and our roster management as it is, wait until the NCAA decides to 'borrow' some of our scholarships for a few years for knowingly playing an ineligible player. That scenario would be a disaster.

Now Crow, you know they won't get rid of that cash cow.

Anyone have any figures on how many of the #3 jerseys have been sold by UGA since they put them back on the shelf?

There have been 'official' news reports on sources close to the situation giving all kinds of dollar amounts.

Chip towers even reported at one point that sources said a report was coming on Tuesday. There really is no upside for someone who contributes as much as I do here to troll with fake info, but I do understand we have some county posters on here and am cool with that...

And when this broke on Thursday, this was what I was saying to anyone that would listen.

The way we've handled it, we must know that there is evidence and it can be proven. That or Todd admitted to it, which seems likely.

If that ends up being the case, then I have no problem with how the administration has handled this.

Bruce Feldman ? @BruceFeldmanCFB Follow

Have heard there's been plenty of internal squabbling on how #UGA is handling its Todd Gurley suspension/investigation.

Predictable. Utter failure to control the message, both publicly and privately.

Yea, we've fricked up on the PR end of this. Especially when we're being more tight lipped about it than the NCAA.

Well to give you benefit of the doubt maybe your guys are just on the wrong side of this mess....

If Feldman's source is legit (likely), it would indicate a bigger problem than just PR. There's disagreement and confusion within the building.

Mostly you seem to be a tool that acts like he has the most team spirit just because he writes "Go Dawgs!!" at the end of every post.

We've known this for a long time. There's a side that wants us to be the moral superior school and a southern ivy league school, and there's the side that wants championship no matter what.

Yea without knowing the facts there's nothing for us to really go by, but disagreement and confusion within the department in an issue like this is really bad. It also implies it's not as clear cut as was thought, obviously.

Jefferson really has a good thing going here. He accuses anyone and everyone of being trolls/alters, ratting out anyone who gives him any kind of business, and has everyone convinced that GATA is a board killer....

...all the while he has multiple handles with which he trolls the frick out of everyone and follows people around from thread to thread in an e-stalker manner.

Genius. The people love it.

You want him to squirm? Let GATA loose...Jeff's post count slow to a crawl...

Onward.
