RN is visiting tomorrow, riding up with a Grayson assistant coach and staying with him.

The commitment is from CB Shaq Wiggins.

Yep Wiggins committed this afternoon. Top CB in the state for 2013. Good pick up.

I'll add Shaq to the committed prospects this evening. On my phone now and won't be home until 6 or so.

Can we expect any other commitments this weekend?

I wouldn't expect anymore, but Foster, Nkemdiche, Wiggins, and Wayne Gallman are all on campus this weekend. There are rumors of a couple more commits on or before the 15th, though.

Same can be said for the entire top 20 in the state of Georgia; at least we have a good shot at 21-40.

I don't think Bama has offered these two.

We're pretty much forced to take Saban's leftovers

Mitchell & Crowell were huge wins in '11. Jordan was a big win in '12. That said, Bama did get 6 of the top 15 out of UGA in '12, has the #2 from '13 committed already, and at minimum leads for #1.

I would think any unbiased observer would say Bama has landed more top talent in GA than any other team. Of course, it is a talent rich state and UGA will do well in '13....just not gonna get RN or RF.

Added two new offers (Kearse and Gallman) and added Wiggins to the commitment list. Hopefully I will have the Rivals and 247 bios for all of our offers and highlight links for our commitments by the end of this weekend. Looks like a flurry of new offers could go out next week (2012 and 2013), so I'll try to stay on top of that, too.

Swin posted this

As the top player in the country by Rivals.com, there is an excellent chance that Grayson defensive end Robert Nkemdiche will be as busy as he has ever been over the next 11 months. Nkemdiche, who has an offer from almost BCS school in the country, made the 45-minute trip to Athens today to spend the time with Georgia's coaching staff, and the visit went well. "Me and three other guys made the trip," said Nkemdiche. "It was a great, great trip. We had a ton of fun. It was just a fun trip where we spent time with coaches and got to see a lot." The Peach State star had been to Athens before, but on this visit, he had a chance to spend some time forming relationships with the Georgia staff. "The best part was just the coaches," he said. "They all just know their stuff and they are just great guys. I spent an equal amount with all the coaches, but I really got a chance to talk with Coach (Mark) Richt, and Coach (Todd) Grantham. All of the other defensive coaches were there too." Many believe that the Grayson standout is a strong Alabama lean at this point, and that may be true, but Nkemdiche says that another school is making its way up his list. "Georgia has a great chance of getting me," he said. "The coaches are just so great. I love how they treat their players and they are just easy to talk to. They are easy to get close to and I like that." As for the next 11 months, Nkemdiche says that his recruitment is secondary. "Really, I'm focused on winning another championship," he said. "That is my main goal."

That's the copied and pasted update from ugasports, which is awesome for folks who don't have a subscription but it's also copyright infringement...

I know, I was mainly saying SBJ needs to watch his shite before he gets an e-mail...Rivals actually takes that shite pretty seriously because it cuts into their bottom line.

Added youtube highlights for our commits, added Rivals.com bios for everyone with offers, and added Larenz Bryant (ILB, had an offer for a while, must've been an oversight) and Joe Fennell (OT) to the offers list.
