Here is a neat stat.
Banks is hitting .374 in SEC play, good for 2nd best in the conference.

Do they not allow people to park behind left field anymore? Haven't been there since '10 so it looks like that has changed

We won today in the 10th but dropped the other two games if anybody didn't know. Gonna need a good series next weekend.

no telling. Right now we're likely in. But we can't do poorly this week. And we will have SEC tourney games beyond this

It grinds my gears we kept Nottebrook on the bench for so long. A huge Sunday and now another hit today. He's 2nd on the team in OPS!

Winner winner chicken dinner. Another top 50 win. Another save by Minter. Did we just figure out our closer situation just in time for regionals? Jester makes a hell of a set up / long reliever too.

What do we need to do in the SEC tourney to be positive we are in (if anything)?

think it's really going to depend on what the committee does with the SEC. I could see them sticking to 10 max for political reasons.
Top 9 SEC seeds are probably all locks. Only Arkansas has a worse RPI but they beat us in a series and finished 2 games in front of us (and with an over .500 record in SEC play). That could mean the SEC only gets 1 more. UGA is on the outside looking in but to feel safe, we can't have UT doing much better than us. If we go 1-2 but they make the championship game, they could pip us - especially if they get the right RPI matchups.
And regardless of UT, if we lose to Arkansas, I think we'll get left at home. We'd be hanging out entire tourney resume on a 15-15 top 50 RPI and a good SOS. There's no glaring hole but nothing that is going to make anyone fight for us either. Losing conf record. Didn't finish strong. Terrible friday record (has to be a factor as it's best vs best).

Vandy won the opener 3-2 over UT. I think that was a good result for us because UT has no chance to jump us now and we have a series win @ Vandy and so them doing well helps both our RPI and the impression of our club.

Baseball America had us as "safely in" in their most recent projections. Id still feel much more comfortable with a W today

first day is single elimination. 4 teams get byes and 4 teams advance to the double elimination phase. We're out.

If the Aggies don't make the NCAA tournament, does Hyman follow his already established standard by keeping Childress another year?
